I also find that India ink is much easier to work with than paint so I recommend it when ur starting out

Tim, muchas gracias for such an informative video; excellent tips. I definitely I am a good fan of your inks. They so much easier than any other airbrush paint. With my limited time for airbrushing, I can rapidly clean up my work station with no issues. 👏👏

@@TimothyJohnLukeSmithPSA you are welcome but as for paying for any art class I could never pay for them for do not ever have enough money for them due to high regular bills and very low fixed social security income, below poverty level can’t even buy a newer vehicle or even get a house house, this is a very harsh life I have to live in, and if I make money from my art work I will loose my income I have now, have so many painful disabilities with hard to breath most of the time from COPD, degenerating disc disease etc. I only live on income under $900.00 a month way under that, it is fixed income…So I can never pay for extra stuff of membership prices, things like toilet paper have gone up gas prices and have a almost 20 year car to the price for maintenance on it has risen 50% in my area, state of Washington the Governor caused higher gas prices in US, he caused high licensing of yearly cart tab stickers at over $100.00 a year on mine a SUV but so I live on a very small budget. Thank you for your link, I am 65 year old lady on extremely low budget income, retired and disabled senior citizen.

The extreme patriot arrow is basically a sotar with a longer nose.

I am not sure what you mean by safe. Safe from what?
@TimothyJohnLukeSmithPSA2 жыл бұрын
Thank you fo checking out the video. There is a misconception out there that India Inks would be harmful to the airbrush. That is totally false. The airbrush works better with India Inks than acrylic paints due to its viscosity.

Do you use the Sotar 2020 at all? If so do you modify it at all?
@TimothyJohnLukeSmithPSA4 жыл бұрын
Hi Brandon, thank you for checking out the video! I use the Sotar 20/20 Slim but I don't modify it at all. Except for taking that needle guide off in the very back of it.

The extreme arrow is basically a sotar with a different body. Im pretty sure they use similar head and needle setup. The sotar has a shorter front end which i always prefer in airbrushes since using my thayer and chandler model A.

Hi Patty, thank you so much for checking out the video. It is best to use water at room temperature.

I'm so glad I found your channel! I see you're using the Badger Patriot airbrush here. Is that one you use similar to the 105? Looks similar. I'm thinking of buying a 105. Do you use colors ever? I have a 24 set of Dr Martin India inks and can't wait to give them a go. I liked and subscribed!
