What I find with the Helix universally, everything sounds muffled and kind of boxy I would say with excessive emphasis on frequencies around 250HZ. Especially with the stock cabs. But a little bit of tweeking with a parametric EQ can fix it though. And the gerth of the IRs most of the time are removed from the final product to give room for bass and kick drum anyways at the end of the day. So the bottom end are pretty much useless in terms of getting a usable tone rather than a pleasant tone. But I personally use IRs that I make myself with Reaper and Amplitube vst. Nice comparison and nice playing also. Country chops

@@AydenJacobs Unfortunately I don't share my IRS. You can easily make your own with a DAW of your choice, Amplitube 5 an amp and effects sim VST, and Voxengo Deconvolver. Amplitube 5 is like the best amp and effects sim vst right now in my opinion sound wize.

I noticed this my self also. Don't understand why. In all of my presets there are atleast one EQ to tweak the sound to my taste.

@@muurimc Yeah. But the Helix is modeling how an amp sounds filtered through a microphone, not how an amp alone sounds in the room so it does make sence that you have to EQ your way to the ultimate tone you want. Same goes for all other amp modelers. Because that's what all sound engineers do with your amp tone miked up anyways in real life.:)
