V B Why are you playing an asymmetric game? All main survivors know that almost 70% of the game they "looses" (and by loose I mean not getting more than 15k, because that's how the game goal is) is because of survivors fault, it can be their mistakes and other survivors mistakes. The main toxicity in this game is from survivors, but the problem is that a toxic killer triggers 4 survivors, but 4 toxic survivors only trigger 1 killer, and that's why "killers are the bad ones". The fact that in rank 1 there are a lot of bad survivors says a lot of this, and if you are gonna talk of bad killers in rank 1 (and there are) we must remember the 4:1 proportion again. Bad killers should not go to rank 1, same goes for survivors. If you are not ranking up, maybe you should gitgud, because the good survivor is i8n rank 1 since the first week. And before you say a shit about "here's is another killer crying", I'm main survivor, and I'm not at rank 1. This patch was good.

Hardcore tunneling and camping are honestly the most frustrating survivor issues right now. Especially since almost every killer does it atm, mostly for no reason whatsoever. Like, I get that it's required sometimes but the game is supposed to be fun for both sides. And I honestly dont really see how standing in front of a hooked survivor for 3 minutes straight is fun for anyone.

Tunneling is like 90% of my games now. I run now urban evasion just not the be first to get caught because I know I will simply die. Imo Killers are a little bit easier to play now and Gen rush is the only thing survivors can do. If killer is camping a survivor or just not going too much far away i will simply do gens not the best ideal situation, (because i won't get any altruistic actions but i got no choice really). Even Borrowed time suffers against this. What bothers me the most is that they nerfed Brand New parts, but Unlimited evil within 3, insta down hatchets are still a thing.

+Abaddon_ Another thing I love is when a killer camps someone for "gen rushing." It's literally what survivors have to do. Like, what do they want us to do all game? Especially considering literally everything a survivor can do is considered toxic at this point. Looping? Toxic. Use an item/addon the killer doesn't like? Toxic. Help your teammates? Toxic. Just play the game? Toxic. Seriously, I'm not even exaggerating. Some killers just want survivors to line up in a row so they can kill them one after another. I mean, I get that genrush can be frustrating but you can't blame the survivors for something the devs screwed up. It's just childish. Besides, getting camped/tunneled is at least as frustrating. At least there are perks that can help you a bit against genrush, you can't do anything when you're getting camped. Especially when you're playing against a killer that has the ability to instantly down people. If the killer is also tunneling then even Borrowed Time will only slow the game down slightly. And if you're in the basement then at least one of you will usually go down again. Sure, the other survivors could just repair gens, but the person on the hook is still screwed. Not only do you get no points for pretty much the entire game, it's also extremely frustrating and boring. Especially if you're getting camped for literally no reason whatsoever, just because the killer felt like it. And believe me, that happens _way_ too often.

Exactly what I mean, Gen rushing is like saying speedrunning is stupid, I play as both Killer/survivor and I don't mind gen rush, (i hate decisive yes but not gen rushing) I also don't like T-bags. also, have you seen tinkerer 2 bug now? 0 terror radius the entire game, just saw a hillbilly with Ebony mori and abusing tinkerer 2. I honestly don't get why killers complain about pallet looping. Its the only thing survivors have right now (and even pallets got reduced, pallets vacuums were fixed). Clown has perks for anti looping anyway. I don't even play survivor a lot because lack of BP you get. Especially if you get tunneled the entire game. Survivors only get BP for being in chases and there are 0 rewards for being stealthy in this game. I just hate the fact they don't do anything against Tunneling because there's no counter to it, and the only thing you can do is gen rush while he's wasting time. The game is supposed to be balanced, and if gens take more time then simply no one will get out. I've seen a lot of more 4 kills now in this patch and they also made flashlight saves impossible (flashlight still can be useful in certain situations ofc)

I see so many people who claim that they're "good" survivors because they never loop and just instantly throw down every pallet, but honestly? The opposite is the case. There simply arent enough pallets in an area for this strategy to work anymore. Sure, it might work out for the person doing it, but if another survivor ever gets chased in the same area, they're basically screwed. _Especially_ if you're playing against a killer with the ability to instantly down you. This might have worked out back when there were like freaking 500 pallets on one map, but that isn't the case anymore. Besides, with all the recent changes looping is nowhere near as effective as it used to be. Yeah, I get that it can still be very frustrating and running around a single pallet isnt much for for either side. But like you said, it's the only thing survivors have right now. It shouldn't be considered toxic to try to survive. And as long as you dont tbag the killer after every single pallet and act like a douche for no reason whatsoever, there's nothing wrong with it. Especially considering how often you get camped/tunneled for no apparent reason once you go down.

Easy fix to this update: Perks and changes to the characters stay the same. Exhaustion perks regen twice as slow in a chase so for ever 2 seconds you would get 1 tick on the cooldown Pickup time goes to 3.3 or 3.6 BnP goes to 25 33 or 50% The way i see it is BnP is an ultra rare add on so it should be actually worth running Pickup time is hella fast and if u cant look up or at a wall when you pick up someone don't play killer Exhaustion perks would take 80 seconds to regen and use again. If you can't catch someone in 80 seconds then why are you tunneling them. That's a bad decision on your part and their skill is probably higher than yours. Whenever I play killer if I play against someone thats good at mind games and pallet looping I switch off to someone else and usually end up with atleast a 3K those games and I don't even run ruin. As a survivor I also feel that if I can loop a killer for 80 seconds I deserve an extra boost to get ahead and maybe escape. Some killers are too fast that those 3 seconds wouldnt help much anyway especially with the bloodlust. That is just my opinion btw. Rank 9 killer and rank 11 survivor.

It's not about timing it's about getting close to the downed person without the killer seeing you so that you can get there in time. You have to be super close and sprint burst being on cooldown from all that running trying to follow the person that is getting chased doesn't help

Geometry That's not even true. A survivor has all of the control in a chase. A good survivor would be able to kite a killer for a good minute or so before even taking a single hit, just for the process to go on again for them to actually get downed. But this is hard to do because in the meantime, gens will be getting done at outrageous speeds. And even when a killer gets a survivor on his shoulder, chances are he has DS, which repeats the cycle for a third time. Not to mention insta-heals, bodyblocking, BNP, etc. The survivors are still very clearly the power role. Even after this patch, I've been able to still bully killers and get bullied by survivors. The game is finally becoming fair. Too bad you can't see that. Or rather refuse to see it. Regardless, stop being ignorant lol

Jem Tjin I have DBD on PS4 and Xbox. Though I play way more on my PS4 since it's my main system and I get into games practically instantly. I have no problems finding games on either. And I play everyday solo, sometimes swf and play my killer. I automatically find games. Thousands are always playing. Wouldn't necessarily say more on Xbox, specially if you just got the game. Specially from what I seen when I've played it on Xbox, but still has many, just like each platform does. But definitely not more.

There is currently a matchmaking issue effecting some people (but not all) when they play killer (but not survivor), the devs mentioned it in the Thursday livestream. It takes me forever to get a killer lobby, but as survivor I get a full lobby in seconds. I've only managed to get one full killer lobby since the patch, and it took almost 30 minutes.

I still do not understand this mentality. I have always Killer main'd and have literally never felt weak. There have been times of annoyance and such, yes, but never weakness. I typically run Brutal Strength + Enduring + Lightborn + Hex: Ruin and literally just stop caring about what the Survivors do because they do not matter. I am the Juggernaut, and they are my bitches. I love how no one had any response to this because it's absolutely true. You literally can not be harmed as the killer. You have absolutely nothing to fear, or concern yourself with other than bulldozing over survivors like you're fucking john cena. People who defend killers must be very bad at playing killer, because I have played both plenty (currently rank 3) and survivor is far more difficult. Sometimes your team is ass and you just get downright bullied. Yeah, you might (might!) still pip if you survive long enough, but you are going to die a horrible death regardless. Survivors literally have to accept death, and I mean horrible, abusive death as just "part of the game". Killers only have to accept not getting to kill everyone every time. It's not even a comparison.

Because the killer was supposedly be the power role. But the developers did whatever the community wanted. (Remember that crying survivors post daily) So they reverted the power roles and made the survivors the power role. (The survivors were already the power role if you worked together as a team, But that soon change when more buffs were introduced to survivors which changed their power spike off the roof. Nowadays a lone survivor can fight back against any killer with pallets,windows and a those godlike survivors perks who don't even have a downside like a killer perk.

Maybe you're referring to SWF, but in solo queue it's very dependent upon how competent your teammates are, and how hard the killer decides to try.

@@theheartsstory It's hard to tell if it's SWF or just good and competitive survivors. If you're curious about my rank : Rank 1 killer. (Every season around rank 3-1) I agree with you that killers get more kills nowadays. I guess it also depends on the killers playstyle. If you camp and tunnel you're most likely gonna get 2 survivors and rank up. My playstyle is avoided tunneling and campish strategies. That could be my issue? But ,it all still depends on survivors mistakes and action. The survivor role is still almost like the Game Master in DnD

The ones who really suffer are new survivors. New killers get bullied by experienced survivors, but still kill new survivors. New survivors get killed by new killers and DESTROYED by experienced killers. I've tried to get three friend into the game, but they had such bad early experiences they gave up the game(One even managed to refund it in the purchase time). Hope the survivor pool doesn't dry up too fast. Already takes 800 years to get a lobby as a killer.

I play survivor and killer. Why most of people don't understand that survivers have to : hide, do gens, Run from killer, save and heal others, they left blood the killer can see, Killers hear survivors, see they healling, they see their aureas, and survivos are chased, do totens, open gates, etc... Sorry but survivors need also bloodpoints and have value in the game. What is the point of a killer without good survivers? Even camping is surviver guilty? I do not camp. Is not my style.

you realize that if killers become powerful enough to where survivors need to struggle and play their best to get out then history will repeat itself. right now, killers have needed to play almost perfectly and get a little lucky in order to win (unless theyre a nurse), and thats why these balance changes have happened. survivors should never struggle, killers should never struggle. it should be a test of survivor skill vs killer skill.

idk about you, but im rank 3 on PC and I struggle plenty vs killers. Sometimes it's just flat out a lost cause 2 minutes into the match because survivors must depend upon random teammates to ensure that shit gets done. Killers only have to rely on themselves.
