I don't have a problem with labels making money, I do have a problem with labels taking all of the artist money, and leaving with nothing. Never give a label total and complete control over your name, image, and likeness. Never! Don't ever be that desperate!

A few interesting facts about Gina Everywhere. (I started following her years ago on her KZbin channel. She's very nice and has responded to her comment sections to answer viewers questions). While a trainee, her roommate at one time was IU! They remain good friends to this day and they met up when IU was touring the states last year. One of her best friends is Jo Kwon (whom you might know from JHope being debuting as his backup dancer/guest in his MV Animal back before BTS debuted) Also, she completely decided to change career directions. She is currently in her 3rd year in law school in Washington DC. She originally thought to become an Entertainment Lawyer based on all her trails as an artist, but is now looking at other areas of law that caught her interest. How did you find Gina Everywhere?

They will always be at the mercy of the internet comment section. But I think Idols can be independent. I think artists like Jessie deserve some independence, she has been jumping from label to label but none were able to match her vision for herself. If she can find a way to be her own boss she will be unstoppable. The mbers of black pink who started their own labels were headed in that direction but signing with US labels puts a little bit of a road block into independence.

And I am sure than now the contracts are going to be harder for trainees thanks to we know whom. And I think that the trainees should paid part of their own training in order to have some said on it.

Prosze pani. To jest naprawde trudne. Dlatego ze kazdy kontrakt jest inny. W zaleznosci od grupy. Ja mieszkam w US na stale. Jestem fanem BTS. Ale zawsze sie ciesze jak widze koment po polsku. 😊

Right, Woozi during suchwita mentioned that it was harder to convince the members to accept a song that with the company. Woozi and bumzu are the main composer/producers of the group, only for hip hop units they are not involved but the other members are. also scoops said in Nana tour that they have a clause in their contract that any member can refuse to accept any activity that they don’t want

BTS can do and say and act however they want, according to HYBE. They can produce create work and do their own songs. But they did have to work for that. 😊. They are as much independent as anyone can imagine

Stray kids is probably the most independent group out there. Jyp has said he doesn’t control any of their music and they do what they want. No most KPOP groups can’t be because they can’t produce,write or compose

Question but they are still under contract by jyp that why they renewed it
@cmg371015 күн бұрын
The only reason I question this is that they stick to a ‘sound’ that is specific to them that sells to their fan base. JYP bottom line wants to make money and I think they would guide them to stick to the format. In this way they’re not independent. Maybe one day they’ll be able to experiment as soloist and a group to expand their music.

Just gonna add that you can be a self produced group and not independent… Being entirely under a company already proves you're not an independent artist. JYPE “owns” Skz.. Touring, sales, sponsorships, there might be lyrics or production that exists in their discography that isn't solely only the members etc. It’s a very impressive thing that they're self-produced. Being an independent artist goes beyond that imo.

@@cmg3710I agree. Although I enjoy the members of Stray Kids, their music is just one sound. JYP sound. It works for their fans though and that’s what counts for the company.

I have been a silent viewer of yours for quite a while now and I have always appreciated that you welcome comments as long as they are formatted with respect so with that in mind I have a question... Why when you were questioned about Jin did you choose to ignore the question ... You laughed it off and commented about the fact that you knew he would be a billionaire one day ... And while nobody will disagree with you on that was not the question ... You ask a question about all seven members of BTS but you only gave your opinion on six ... So I respectfully ask for clarification ... Do you not think that Jin has what it takes to be successful on his musical and vocal talents alone ? Because I think he does and I think you underestimate the power of his fan base within ARMY . I've come to respect you in your opinion however as with so many others Jin seems to suffer from stereotyping, undervaluing and just plain dismissiveness ... So again with all due respect I would like to hear your opinion on all seven members as it pertains to your question. Thank you
