I am a day 1 player of FGO and I played a number of other gacha games, Arknights, Epic7, Nikke, Genshin, etc. 1 thing I am very grateful for FGO is that it doesn't have a billion dailys and weeklys to do. Sure it doesn't have auto run integrated, but at the same time their daily is quick/easy and their weekly is just the prism shop.

It's an odd thing; DW was a meme back in the day because they did some really silly things, but in general I feel like the ribbing was born out of a place of fondness. There were a few things the player base was annoyed by, but it wasn't like it is now. When you compare the flow of content DW was able to keep up with vs Lasagna, there is a clear dropping of balls. Yes, Lasagna has done a lot of good, and made a lot of people happy by killing many of the "___ when DW?" memes they had leftover....and yet, for every meme they've killed they've intetested a new one. Like coins never being fixed, or a lack of animation updates, or killing reruns, or AoE Arts and Arts Support spam, or Quick being shafted (no meaningful sustain, a derth of Support options with party-wide and/or split batteries, etc). It's been pretty well substantiated that they have major staffing issues, and that's a big part of it. I think at this time we can still only speculate as to why. The problem is that whilst some of these issues might stem from a lack of staff, others are entirely fixable given the means they already have at their disposal. At bare minimum they are still making new Servants, which still take the same amount of work, arguably more so since modern Servants are increasingly complicated. And they are still putting out Strengthenings at an okay pace. Ergo, there's no excuse for them failing to support other card types or for them putting out yet another combination of Class/Card/NP Type we have in spades rather than plugging the holes that still exist. We don't need another SSR AoE Arts Ruler/Avenger/Berserker/whatever; we don't need another SSR AoE Buster Rider/Saber; and so on. Then there's the fact that the game has devolved into "3-turn looping, The Game". Part of the blame for that lies at DW's feet, which Lasagna just inherited, but they've made it way worse and I don't think they know how to fix it at this point.

What if, and now hear me out on this, what if they were to take events from previous years and run them again? They could call it a “Re-run” event. This way they can use existing game data. They can even make it a bit easier to do than the original for newer players and throw in a new challenge quest for veteran players. This could help with dead time. What do you think?

I always picture in my head how servants like Medea and lancer cu would look with an updated animation and sound design. Like c'mon, I want to see him throw runes up in the air. Medea could give out a creepy chuckle in between skill animations. Medusa's sound design and effects could be tweaked similarly with ishtar's au. And nitocris has been by overall 4* waifu. I can't even express my disappointment when all they added for her were just face expressions for story. They're necessary, but she's still just stiff!

Why in the world would we need FGO2?! If you already invested all that time (and money in most cases). At least let me use my transfer code, cuz I'd be mad AF if all that effort went to waste. I found this comment by Goraishi on GameFaqs which I think is a good point: The problem that I would have with an FGO 2 wouldn't be transferring my roster. I don't think that will happen. My problem would be that the first years of the game will be dominated by the same damn servants. We see this with arcade as well. With a non-gacha model, I'm always happy to see my favorites back. However, I don't really want to have to gacha my way to getting them again. I'd want at minimum 80% of the servants to be new. Starting a new game to get me to rebuy the contents 1 by 1 doesn't sit well with me, and by rebuy I mean buy SQ because just paying a flat dlc amount I would shrug off.

From my own investigations and looking at the jp interviews and in general the story of dw and lasengle, and having read the interviews, it’s not lasengle’s fault, why do I say this? Not only does mr 2 outly the problem in one of the various famitsu inteviews(in which he says to run fgo at constant content they would need double of the corrent staff because they can barely make new stuff , figures change the code from older version of the game to the newer ones cause yes they need to update the reruns and it takes them as much as time as making a new event) the problem from what I have seen is mostly the fault of aniplex, why? Simple aniplex track record, the fact lasengle is a direct subsidiary of aniplex and various events telling much a problem; aniplex is drip feeding them resources and hogging most of the money that lasengle would get, and aniplex is famous for being scummy, skeleton crews, insane work hours and the anti costumer decisions(when lasengle was dw in an interview the director mr2 preaty much said we woudnt have obtained our first 5 start ticket of the game if type moon didn’t step in to convince aniplex it was a good idea for the game) and unfortunately it’s an aniplex constant to do so cause aniplex has a lot of mobile games and they all suffer from the problem mentioned above, skeleton crews insane work schedules and really small budget for what they Earn, from what I have seen lasengle wants to make the game better but it’s Held back by the situation they are in thanks to their parent company. Why I say the devs care about the game? Cause mr2 said that for example evocation festival wasn’t supposed to come out that early, why? Cause it wasn’t finished the original idea for it was to have story for each welfare so people would know what’s their deal when they get them however this woudnt be done any time soon so they decided for now to just give us the servants and work on the stories later if they ever have time for it, why they releaced it so early? Cause they felt they weren’t giving enough content to the players as such decided to releace it early. Unfortunatly by reading a lot of jp inteviews and looking up aniplex’s track record as a parent company and generally as a company yeh, I think the fault dosnt lie with the devs cause from what they have shown they care about the game but can’t do much cause they lack the resources to do so and aniplex dosnt want to give them said resources. Also To see the evidence for overwork u just need to look at mr 2 on the lb7.2 stream, he has black bags under his eyes and looks really dam tired. But yeh I really suggest u to look for the various interviews mr 2 gave like the 8th anni inteviews before and after but in genenral the interviews in the last year or so of the game

I mean, as someone who's played the game for 5 years, all I've been able to do as of late is farm materials to max every servant I have, I have every servant max ascended right now, so now all I can do is farm materials and level skills, after that only thing I could form would be bonds and to max grail every servant I like, the content will last me a little, but man I'd be lying if I said this is what I want to do.

Problems with FGO AP is too low for how much Stages cost! (Let us play your game!) Double AP or decrease time to get more AP passively makes it possible to play the game for more than 5 mins at a time before having to wait 12 hours to do it again. You have already added Storm Pods as a means to prevent the players from doing too much progress, at this point you should not care about a persons AP total. Replayable Bosses or Challenges (Give us something more to play with!) Recollection stages really shouldn't be a 1 time a year thing it should be a part of the game so you can stress test new Servants, try different Servant combos, or just get some good old revenge on the Bastards that gave you a hard time. Maybe even give us the option to make said Boss Fights harder. Servant Coins (Universal Coins when?) As someone who played Princess Connect and who is currently playing Blue Archive, I can NOT stress enough how much this coin system pisses me off! For those unaware Blue Archive gives Eligma (Coins) every time you pull one of the Students. This includes both a Fragment for the Student you pulled AND a Eligma you can use in a shop to get more of Students Elphs to upgrade them for higher Star Ranks, or upgrading their Weapon. FGO could absolutely give out Universal Coins on Summon of any Servant a you could more easily build a Servant up without feeling like you need to pull alot of said servant. Nothing feels worse than getting a 5Star you like and going, "Man it would be great if I could get this servant to 120, oh wait....." A Free NP lvl for each Servant It would be nice if we had the ability to get a free NP lvl for 4 or 5 star Servants using their Coins to upgrade said NP, but this can only be done once. Most people can agree that most Servants WANT NP lvl 2 otherwise they don't do their job right. RERUN YOUR OLD EVENT AND ADD AN ARCHIVE FOR THEM! This is not hard to understand. If story details are needed for future Story beats then add an Event Story Tab for us to slowly go though all the Events you have done in the past. If you fix your AP problem and don't time gate Events then people will be able to do them. Like say re-run Saber Wars 1 for a week then add it to the Event Tab without any of the shops or prizes for doing the Event at the time. This gives people something to do, it gives you a week buffer AND It compiles your Events cohesively together rather than being one off Tabs scattered in Story/Free Tabs. Servant Upgrades Lasengle could drop 50 Servant upgrades and we would still be very far behind on Servant Upgrades. This feels like Lasengle just refusing to give out SQ rather than not knowing what they can upgrade Servants on. I would offer the idea of an Event that just drops 20+ Upgrades and they don't count towards the Missions and offer a poultry amount of SQ. That way we get upgrades for old Servants that need it, and they didn't have to worry about flooding their payers cough players with to many SQ. While there are more problems with the game I do think these are the bigger problems that are with FGO as of right now. Also ZTL if you want to use this entire comment/rant for a video feel free. XD

I think getting some type of Free NP level for 4 or 5 star servants would be really sick, maybe limit it to only being able to get them to NP2 though? NP2 is the one that really matters the most anyway and if you wanna whale out on the NP3-5 then you can do so. Well last year we've been inhaling tons of copium that Lasengle are cooking something.. back then we think that they've been polishing grail front maybe as PvP or even better as permanent mode in the future. While Ptolemy event is extremely fun they end up as another one off grail front again. It feels like betrayal. Like with schedule this far apart I kinda expect the next main quest to be done entirely in grail front system or something. I want to see more fight like Typhon or like Samurai Remnant in FGO. In fact I am extremely disappointed last Samurai Remnant collabs because I expected it to take Grail front format. Like it'll be extremely cool if we fought Ushi Gozen mount like Typhon fight, or we need to capture area in the map to progress into edo castle

No Interlude! 2023 JP had lower rank ups than ever with no Interlude at all. This year in NA feels slow but i know that next year will just be dead. I am hyped next year for LB6-summer and FGO x FGA, but everything other? At least 2 big story parts for each year is a must. Next year we only have OC 1 and nothing more of mainstory (i dont count lb7 to next year because it beginns in december). I love this game more than any other gacha and more than most story games. It....just hurts to see NOTHING! At least with re-run it would not feel so empty and like dead-months.

The dead periods I lay at Lasagna's feet. I get not wanting to rerun older material ad infinitum, but the shops and mats are useful, and some of those nodes are great for general farming too. If it's TypeMoon that's not letting them do a whole bunch of reruns, that's one thing, but I don't believe that's the case. Run a twelve day lite variant of an older event and be done with it. It's dull only having basic bitch farming or doors to grind up every day... Makes me want bronze apples like yesterday when these dead weeks start to hit in NA.

Let's be honest, the only thing keeping FGO afloat is the Fate brand and the Whales who spend millions of dollars on the game and are already in too deep to stop. FGO is completely outdated by current standards, with games like Genshin, HSR, Reverse 1999, Blue Arquive, Arknights, Nikke, PGR and soon ZZZ and WW constantly raising the quality standard FGO will fall further and further behind. The only thing that FGO has that is a genuinely strong point is the story, and even that is being neglected with new parts of the Main Story taking longer and longer to be released in this damn Ordeal Stall.

@@jamesneese7663 I agree, years ago I had the time to 100% every event and catch up to story segments but now with my responsibilities rising I end up missing out on events or skipping some/most if not all story sections. For the Tunguska event I had to skip and rush through the last 1/3 of the Lostbelt 6 story and then rush the event. Lostbelt 6's story was absurdly long and I didn't finish it because I didn't want to burn myself out. I felt burnt out rushing into and for the Tunguska event. Taking a break and playing other things like Helldivers 2, Palworlds and Persona 3 has been great for my free time instead of more FGO grinding in the valentine and white day events. I'm more appreciative of hanging out with friends/family and exercising instead of grinding fgo which makes me wish the game wasn't as grindy as it is. I'm also glad the game has downtime but I dislike the short event times especially with time-gates.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Lasengle are the exact same people developing the game as DW. When the change happened, it was just a reshuffle of the parent company Aniplex so they have 100% ownership of the developers, more direct involvement by Typemoon, and a rebranding of their name.

I despise the arknights base, constantly hopping on and off the game to assign new people working it is one of the most annoying things in that game and a big reason why i quit. If you're gonna go for an arknights feature, we neeeeeeeeed something like integrated strategies, actually being able to play the game and interact with its actual mechanics consistently in a roguelike mode is amazing. IS also rewards just about the right amount of things so you never feel super pressured into doing it, but you still get something at the end of the day.

The base is annoying, I still play the game but I don't like that. I personally hate the roguelike mode but I'd take anything at this point, Lasengle has poorly implemented so much features and stopped regular updates that people enjoy. I wish they implemented an auto-run that you can unlock for events, it gets annoying when I'm time-gated from the best farming nodes and then on the last few days I have to take out so much time of my day to finish farming the event and use a bunch of apples to be efficient.

The 10-15 saint quartz - say a 100% increase on pitiful start rates of DW is still pitiful - at 0.8% rate up, need 125 rolls to get a 5 star on average, while they give 2-5 rolls for say random SQ drops. And weekly login bonus + mission only gives 3 rolls a week. It is pitiful. Without any bonus SQ (like streak), just based on weekly SQ, it takes about 40 weeks on average to get a five star from weekly stars. Say someone rolled the 5 star in a few rolls, I dare say someone else is going to be putting in 100-200 rolls without a 5 star, evident from all the videos that hit 330 rolls pity. It is a terrible terrible exploitative system.

I played Ark Knightss, and I don't want the extra work of a base to deal with in FGO. There is plenty of farming to do as it is now that I can't even do. I will agree for the money they pull in, there are aspects of the game that could be vastly improved. As you said, the animations of older servants, and also there are a lot of useless servants they could update the skills for. I don't expect three star servants to be epic, but a lot of them aren't worth using at all. That's probably the biggest problem with all these gatcha games. They have to make tons of trash characters for fodder to fill summons with that bring little to no value to the game.

Yes they are. I can't be assed to look it up, do your own research, but I've seen statistics from Lasengle's employment divisins, and about 80% of the FGO team work in administrative positions. They're sitting on their butts at a desk, and rake in millions. The reason content is so slow is because there's only about 15 people working on FGO's animations. That's why so much is reused, and there are no visual updates anymore.And that is because they're too cheap to reinvest the earnings into more people in the animation department. They know that Fate's playerbase will do one communal soyjak face for every breadcrumb we get. So they will keep trying how little they can do while continuously making millions. And right now, the answer to that is: close to nothing.

The game is Archaic as shit, honestly we kinda need an fgo2 if we want to catch up with newer games. This game is old as balls & the way the code is written is *Stuck*

I think we need FGO2 to tune up a lot of problems with the game. Like, I feel like for them to solve everything it would mean doing nothing but that for at least half a year. New game with new system for animations and stuff. They could even make dupes to servants that are supposed to be top tier like cu and Medea and make them 5* with a fixed set like design their kits in modern days. And they could even make a transfer option to get your servants + extra stuff so people would still need to invest on the game but will have their units

On the one hand.... DW had a lot of favoritism towards Nero: she got many Alternate Outfits, Buffs and Events dedicated to her and Rome. Likewise, they treat Jalter with more respect and affection. On the other hand... Lasengle left the favoritism towards Nero to dedicate itself to overexploiting new Saberfaces: see Castoria and Morgan. Likewise, they began to sideline and neglect one of the main faces of FGO: Jalter.

They should at least made gap closer between NA and JP by making the gap 1 year People would still have dead weeks also it wouldve helped to make game more accessible and keep players constant but they dont want to welp I dont wanna play with 6 year sprites with very old game
