I just think the metal cards are absurd if they don't actually offer a great credit card package. It's just pretentious. I recently chose an Amex Green over Gold card because of the broader range of travel categories in which o earn 3X MR points. The fact that it's plastic doesn't bother me at all.

I have the Acorns investing DC which is metal, and I remember the first time I handed it to someone. They were like "Oh... You must be rich!" Hahaha not the BEST reason to get a DC/CC, but still satisfying lol.

I honestly did not even realize Acorns had a metal card, that's kind of exciting. Haha definitely not the best reason, but I am sure you felt great when they said that!

@@JacobFisher Yeah man! Unfortunately one of the biggest reasons I signed with them! Lol $3/month but the money goes into a moderately aggressive stock so it's been worth it so far!
