With the price of newer synthetic wigs getting up there in cost, I thought it would be good to remember how far synthetic wigs have come by reviewing an older unit. Ari was def a fan fave, but today’s unit are MUCH more updated than what we got 4 years ago.

I’m undecided on the rise in cost of wigs. I’m also the type to keep my wigs till I can’t no more. I wash my synthetic wigs with a touch of fabric softener. I’ll thin them out if they start to frizz or tangle etc etc… that way if I pay $60 for a wig I’ll keep it for at least 3-4 months maybe more so by that time I feel like I got my moneys worth.

I mean when I wear wigs it’s for different reasons there are ones they look more realistic LOL and ones that are more fun and free and colorful. I’m not a person who gets all bent out of shape about oh I want people to think it’s my real hair. I am going for an aesthetic that matches my mood in my outfit. I love wearing blondes and purples and greens and blacks. I just like fashion and that’s why I love synthetic wigs! You rock both of these looks diva as always!💜💜

Heeeyyyyy Jessica!👋🏽 I remember Ari. This was one of your first videos you made on your channel. Oil Slick Twilight is my favorite color of the two also. And yes, wig making has definitely evolved through the years. There's a big difference between the construction of a wig made in 2016 and a wig made today. How-be-ever, these prices are almost up there with that of human hair wigs. No matter how synthetic wigs have evolved, the fact remains that it is still synthetic and will rat up on you within a handful of wears, if you get that many.

Yes, I remember Ari. I have her in 2colors. It's funny how I ran across a pic I took in her in the burgundy color. That hairline tho 🤣 but the style is still pretty. Wigs has come a long way. I appreciate the upgrades 🤣 But those lace parts were a whole lot easier to slay.

Well, I'm someone who always bought my hair from from the stores and paid $50-$80 and up for synthetic then I started watching KZbin wondering HOW the women were getting their hair so cheap, because of these videos I then discovered online hair shopping, I was a happy camper so for me I'm no stranger to higher prices... been wearing hair (wigs) since the late 60's.👍🏾🤷🏽‍♀️😉

Wigs are ridiculous right now. I've been wearing them for 16 years. Outre has gone downhill in quality over the past few years. The prices of most of the wigs increased due to issues in and with China and will get worse. Wig shortage and weave about to get way worse.

I totally agree; we’re all about the undetectable/realistic wig nowadays. I thought that shortie Keshona was too much, but the look and feel was totally worth it; you just have to shop around for the best deal. I liked both colors, but that twilight was 🔥

I have hundreds of wigs and two bare my face from modu i refuse to throw out a wig until I get my wears you hear me and I have some I bought like 7 years ago that are still good I wash them in Aussie moist and dove conditioner or silicone mix. And no mam I dont agree with the price hike these wig streets got me messed up fr fr.
