As someone who is an adult and loves object shows, I think most object shows are for everyone. Some shows are aimed at specific age demographics, but that doesn’t meant EVERY object show is aimed toward any demographic. I just want to watch object shows

ironically enough, the ppl who try to prove object shows aren't for kids kinda pushed me away from the osc for a long long while after i stopped watching bfdi before bfb im glad since stuff like nightly manor and hfjone exists that i can fully understand the history and appeal of the osc and how pretty much anyone can enjoy them lolz

in my personal opinion object shows are definitely aimed at a younger audience and it uses a lot of references to it's past, i do think its similar to stuff like regretevator where if you played or watched something as a kid (for example, played roblox a lot as a kid) then you would get the references more and actually enjoy it more, that is what i feel towards BFDI, especially if you watch shows like homestar runner and eddsworld which give you a few extra easter eggs you never get especially in BFDIA, but its just cool that a show like BFDI has such a long history that is also referencing its roots a little from the old youtube/newgrounds animations that the creators watched as young kids. i do think bfdi isn't for babies but definitely for a younger audience which imo isnt a bad thing. overall bfdi imo is peak and its absolutely understandable if you dont like bfdi due to its kid nature because of its past affecting it so much (why would bfdia be continued 10 years later anyways) but if you watched object shows as a kid i think bfdi will still be a fun watch time to time and with other object shows it depends on the creator and such. also if anyone from discord is reading this im doing fine rn and my break is going well, i might come back soon!

wouldnt call it _for_ babies but it basically ticks off all the boxes for what younger kids enjoy, proven by how young most of the fanbase is and the fact that most of the shows (although really only bfdi when youre excluding the less well known ones) are created by and have the sense of humor of like early gen z or late gen alpha (not to mention early bfdi literally being brainrot no matter how much i want to let the nostalgic vibes cloud my judgement)

I mean, I think we think of this now because most of us grew up with these shows. A lot of the humor is more juvenile in these, and shows that try to be Orr “adult” for lack of a better term, often fall flat. I think shows like ONE did it very well too

Well, if we talk about every object show, then object shows are just for kids. Object shows like, Team Room 125 include slurs, or swears, but many are for kids, object of the s*n isnt about sin, its about object purgatory, with is kinda alike, yet the name is object of the sun/son.
