In short, this is a major sign of the sincerity and truthfulness of the religion. This is what Western academics in the modern era when determining if something is authentic or historically viable call the criterion of embarrassment. This citerion of embarrassment establishes the authenticity of an event happening. Such as with the case of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Why would you have something n your own book as the Christians and others claim so as to make yourself seem rude or bad and ignorant. Needing to be rebuked and reminded. Quran is a holy book of guidance, it tells us to seek for Allah's forgiveness . I quote The Quran, Surah 11, Verse 3 "SEEK FORGVENESS OF YOUR LORD AND REPENT TO HIM (and) HE WILL LET YOU EJOY A GOOD PROVISION" Whereas Allah sends peace and blessing on His swt Prophet Mohammad pbuh, Allah swt says in the Holy Quran Surah 33 Verse 56 : "Verily, Allah and His angels confer blessings on the prophet: O you who believe! Confer blessings on him, and greet him with a goodly salutation"

To be honest I don't know where did this idea of Prophets being sinless came from,I've read the Qur'an many times,never Allah SWT described them to be sinless,of course they are not capable of major sins Which is understandable but other than that they're still human beings and the fact that they're role models to all humanity require them to act like a human being thus making mistakes and minor sins,there is nothing wrong about it since they all eventually realize their mistakes and repent
