Hate to shock you but ... busy restaurants do not clean 10 times per day. Better yet: I would even suggest, based on observation, that the busier the restaurant is, the less often its restrooms are cleaned. And a bar/club with lots of alcohol? Those don't even get cleaned when stopped up. If it's actually flooding the floor, they'll do something; put out yellow plastic caution signs on the floor. Party on.

One thing I hate are germophobies. Of course I always wash my hands after using the toliet. I'm not paranoid about germs they are everywhere. Your body needs to be exposed to germs and your immune system learns to recognize harmful germs and able to keep you from getting sick. I have worked in the healthcare industry. Yes it's good to be clean just don't go overboard with it.

You don't have to worry about the toilets at my store. I don't just wipe real quick and think I'm done. I don't care what mangers say about cleaning the bathroom fast, I like to clean up like I would if I was cleaning my own bathroom. I'll spray the cleaning solution on the toilet until the toilet is soaked in solution and then wipe down the toilet around the top. I then reapply the solution to the underside of the seat and the rim of the toilet and outter bowl area and wipe down throughout. I'll then spray the base of toilet where the most nasty accumulation is at and wipe completely until bright white again. I'll also spray and wipe down the chrome neck and handle as well. Then I'll spray and clean the toilet paper dispenser that gets dust on it. I'll spray that until soaked and wipe it down clean. Same thing goes for the personal seat cover dispenser. I'll do the mirror until it is crystal clear and spotless. And the soap dispenser and towel dispenser. And I'll wipe off any residue off the walls of the bathroom as well. By the time I'm done, you'll walk into a public bathroom that's free from germs. But often people tend to still not trust my work because they think someone else already used It or that they think that person who cleaned it just rushed to clean but it could still be nasty. I'll assure you that I don't rush in cleaning unless I'm forced to by my boss; other than that, I try to clean the bathroom like I do at home with you the customer in mind.

Most public toilets are absolutely disgusting. I hover at all times unless I absolutely have to sit. I pad that seat down with paper towels before I dare to sit. I never allow my purse to touch the floor. I don't put my purse on the sink either. I kick the toilet flusher with my foot. I close the lid before I flush. And I wash my hands frequently.

I try to never use public restrooms in stores. They usually have the type of toilets that don't have tanks (where you're supposed to put your purse) and they don't have upper lids on the toilet seats so you can cheerfully spray bacteria into the air when you flush.

well, as an asian, I prefer the squatting toilet more, and I need water to wash. I will use the sitting toilet only at my home or if I am desperate enough to use it when I'm outside. I find it hard when I travel to countries with the sitting toilet, without bidet or water at all. And if I don't use water at all, I feel nasty.
