Super helpful!!! We are building outdoor shelves for our catio and didn’t want to use wood as we live in Florida. I wasn’t sure if the boards would hold up similarly to wood. I’m so grateful for your pvc cement advice!!!

This was good information & need a material that's termite proof & is durable for kitchen drawers. I live in Mexico & bugs destroyed all my cabinets. I'm not sure steel ball slides will attach solidly to pvc. Thanks for the info.

What about hinges? Have you tested how they hold up in pvc cabinets? After all, these are frequently moving parts.

Ok, strange question. I am building a full cover for the backseat of my truck, from the back of the seats to the back of the front seat to support a dog hammock. I have two LARGE dogs. Would that piece of PVP sheats in a 4x8 diameter hold the dogs with the support of the hammock in your opinion?

Maybe is it possible also to use in motor banca instead of marine plywood. But the problem is to join in bulkhead or called parka(walling).

does contact cement (rugby) work ob PVC foam boards? I was wondering if it's possible to apply laminates (formica) to PVC foam boards.

I've used contact cement to join PVC foam to wood, and those bonds are very strong. I've used contact cement a little to join PCV to PVC, and it holds, but not as strongly as to wood. Rough sanding the surfaces before gluing improves the bond.

another added benefit is those board will likely be perfectly flat and straight. I can't stand building with wood that is twisting and bowing.
