Hey stoney, thanks for making all this great free content that's not only entertaining but also very informative on all of the intricacies of Mechabellum. Seriously, there is no other youtuber that I genuinely learn something from in almost every video. Dont sweat people in the comments, you're less than 1k subs it's not like you've mastered how to title and post videos (although your editing and everything in your vids is seriously top notch) people just love to find stuff to be upset about.

I agree. It's one of those upgrades that counters the counter. Like how fortress range allows it to contest melting points

What a coincidence! I too am an assmetric fan. Like, when they're big enough to need a yardstick to measure, they just get that SWING that makes you wanna--wait hold up. Ohhhhhhhhhh..."asymmetric." Whoops. Forgot what channel I was on.

Personally I think ranged overlords are better in general. Chin gun is good and all, but overlords are made of paper compared to other giant units and die stupid fast, chin guns or not. Range helps them stay back and away from AA spec things, like wasps, and jump drive is a meme outside of 4v4 that is countered easily. Not running those frees up slots for launcher overload and range, which in my experience is much more consistent. Especially since they don’t instantly lose massive dps when you click temp range.

Definitely agree with range and launcher overload for the boats. It makes them helpful in both chaff clear and dps.
