They're cracked in a coordinated trio. Your buddy doesn't even need resilience if you have bolt thrower. Revive and then shoot them again and they're full health ready for combat. Way, way better than necro most scenarios you would use it imo. And you can heal your buddies after long battles when you've run out of meds.

Its silly maybe they should have just made necro have an extra charge or something. i don't want to babysit bodies cause some dude has 4 shots and an ammo box to refill. I wish they would just chill on the new guns and ammo types. The game honestly doesn't feel better for it just seems like an excuse to bring players back for events and exploit FOMO. In my opinion people will be much happier if they can just get the game performance and UI dialed in.

A fun concept, especailly as a healer main in other games but it seems like a low cost high reward. I'd rather have a one use revive tool and healing bots, as two seperate things. I do like the counter play though, downing someone with this, swaping it with your weapon, revive your teammate with it :D

I play a tonne of solo. My only issue with them is there’s no clear indicator or a visual cue the person got res’d. As a solo those bolts are really annoying when you encounter them because it’s literally an insta res.

to be honest, its strong but i think it gets OP if the stars align, you still need a clear unobstructed line of fire to the corpse for it to work(nevermind, just saw he healed through a roof..Well, they should make it that way, only heal on a direct hit), it takes a weapon slot and its a special ammo. They could reduce it to two bolts instead of four. I really don't mind Hunt to go more on the weird magic side of the lore, though i would love that it would be in more creatures, weird temperatures.

Well, he healed thru a roof because the head was peeking through it, just the same way you can literally shoot someone like that in the same situation... It doesn't mean the revive bolt is OP for *that* specific reason...

Man I had just recently joked around about the worst thing they could add would be healing bolts. and well look at what we have a month later. really tossing out the game design. the entire way fights progress has been changed with this. The solo duo and trio power scale has been tipped. I anticipate if this remains able to instantly revive and heal. the ultra agressive plays will be more common in a semi coordinated trio. being able to heal and revive two players in the time it takes to throw a flashbang. I also bet that the need to "lock down" dead hunters instead of burning them will be crucial. something like poison/concertina will be the only option fast enough to actually keep a player down. I wonder if they will add any interaction with chokes,poison or fire? so you wont be able to revive a burning teammate or one in a choke cloud. meaning you need to physically stop their burning or wait for your choke cloud to extinguish them then dissapate to hit them with the revive bolt. this seems like a good option to balance it out and keep it in the current revive timer/fight game design.

@@Relhio The power value of having a revive/utility far outweighs having a Dolch. Think about what that Dolch does for your loadout that you cant get with anything else. not a lot. Personally I think ive encountered a single Dolch in 2024. Their is just more efficent things to spend your money on. Is that Dolch going to make your headshots any better? probably not. Going to give you that extra ammo you need to finish the fight? nope. Give you that utility that your main weapon lacks? nah. outpricing other weapons that could do the same thing? not a chance.

Everyone who uses them has lost to me, i dont get it i cant even use it well myself In bounty clash it would be good but that game mode is god awful its impossible to make any strategy when you'll be flanked by completely random teams no matter where you are unless you hide for 2 minutes in the begining This is why they added a pocket auto 5 etc even before then they want faster ttk, i think it was fine as is

Hunt ALWAYS had fantasy aspect. Hunters literally inject foreign substances made of corruption into their bodies to enhance stamina and gain unnatural health regeneration. What's the problem with reviving then? Lore wise - there is no problems at all. Gameplay wise? It makes games way more dynamic and faster, which is subjective think to like or not.

they are gonna nerf this so hard because of how all the streamers play i can just smell it. Edit: because people cant seem to think critically the way it works is although you have limited ammo for it you can still revive whoever on your team whenever. They can EASILY nerf it by having it not restore health at all like seen here. @@crazyraccoon8 easy. They can nerf it by having there be a delay from when you can use it on someone. Like if they go down, 3 seconds before a rez bolt can be used on them. That way its similar to necro, and the fact that normally if you were to rez someone it takes a few seconds to do so.

People usually trap a body when it’s down or burn it, in the video they just kept rezing and dying, if you rez someone from far away I don’t see the issue it’s literally used for that reason and it takes up a weapon slot if you’re just carrying that type of bolt with something else, if anything reduce the amount of bolts.

I absolutely love the revive bolt in the Clash game mode. Personally, this game mode is more about the insane fun of the chaos and PvP. The fight is what it's all about and the revive bolt makes it so fast paced. I like to bring a chaos bolt and launch in the beginning in all directions to cause even more chaos and confusion.

idk i find its even less of a problem than old infinite use necro, it basically replaced it and in exchange for being faster you now have to have full line of sight, and bring a hand crossbow instead of a different secondary and give up 1 of its special ammo slots for something you may never get the chance to use, or could help another team if they grab it off your body

I think like all weapons it's a matter of personal opinion, personally for me I believe that they are insanely overpowered whenever I use them, I know when to use them, how to use them, and how to go about using them. But this is just all my personal perspective, I say go with whatever weapon you're best at. Love the content btw, keep it up.

Crossbow shotbolt and Hcrossbow revive bolt have been a great success and a lot of fun in my Bounty clash games. Fake dynamites have been crucial aswell in difficult revives.

I’m loving the revive bolt purely for the fact that it’s easier to get teammates when their body is being camped. It’s so annoying when people get a kill and then decide that they’re just doing to stare at the body and wait for someone to go for a rez. Now it’s easier to catch them off guard instantly rezzing whilst another teammate lays down covering fire. I thought the revive bolt would be annoying but im pleasantly surprised

Like the person above me said, its probably resilience + relentless. One thing I have to say though, after this update i experienced something odd. One of my teammates had revived me and i was full HP as if i had relentless, despite not having it (to my recollection). One possibility is that one of my teammates had hit the full restoration medkit but I'm pretty certain they hadn't had the opportunity to do that. So I'm not sure if there's a weird glitch going on with the revive bolt or not.

Personally I like the revive bolts. It allows me to get a teammate back up that would otherwise be punished due to the (in my opinion) terrible balancing of the 1 tap meta in this game, where they don't get to play for the rest of the match. With the sheer amount of 1 tap potential in this game, especially since shotguns got buffed (legit all I see are romeros and crown & kings in the new mode), its nice that we get something that allows us to be aggressive back in some capacity. Plus the moments that come off these plays are genuinely hype as fuck. While nice, I don't think the hand crossbow would ever get picked over a legitimate sidearm like an uppercut, katana or nagant officer, but this actually makes it pretty worth. The only thing I DON'T like about the revival bolt is that they give you full HP back upon revive as a basekit thing. If your out in the open due to being out positioned, in most cases your body is going to be camped, and like old Necro where you get a ton of revives but not enough health to tank anything (outside of having resilience paired with it) its not too much of an issue to curb it by just keeping an eye on the body, or burning it, or trapping it, etc etc. That first clip in the video shows that if you just be aggressive on the people that are reviving, you can still easily win fights. Remove getting full HP unless you have resilience and maybe tone down the amount of bolts you can carry in reserve, and I genuinely think its a fun addition to the game. I just don't think its fair being able to tank a shot while your getting up. Necro got balanced by getting full HP back but with a limited revival amount. This should be the opposite, a few more revivals, but you don't get HP so it makes it more risky to pick someone up and they still need to spend resources to get their HP back. Plus if you limit the amount of bolts, now you need to decide "do I give my teammate a full heal so they can save on 2 medkits or do I save it for a revival that might be clutch later on", which I think would add to the mind games involving it. Makes it interesting IMO.

Hunt lost me like three events ago. Can’t really tell what it is but I played a little bit when the last event released but lost interest like 2 weeks in. I think they added too many new mechanics that somehow made Hunt stand out. I think that is what happens when a game becomes a Service game and has to add something new all the time. 🤷🏼‍♂️

That's a bit extreme to be fair, its ok to add some weird things, imo they should add way more things like that because the real weapons they can add are only a few, if they want to add more things they need to and have to be creative with them, and to be honest i played 30 hours since the update dropped out and i didnt saw a single revive bolts user at all... People dont want to give out on their fav loadouts for only a hand held necro... Those are fun? Yeah, but arent meta and you barely see them in any scenario, and that's a fact, plus even if you rez someone with it the chances of people just camping the body are high enough to just think twice before doing it...

I think you should only be able to carry 2 shots. With 3 players carrying boxes, that is still 8 shots and already think that might be a bit much. Also only powerful if enemy isn't camping the body but definitely appreciate the faster revives. It takes way too long sometimes to get someone up mid fight AND heal them.

I always defended Crytek till this date :/ Also the gunrunner pact is just stupid. I am a 6Star-Player and all the gameplay happening there is, waiting until 5minutes and then rush to the extract. My duo partner and I don’t play the revive bolt. We like our loadouts and don’t think it’s worth it. We either both die or wipe a server lol so it’s not worth giving up a loadout slot. We’ve played a few teams that do use it. We’ve had moments where it didn’t matter and we farmed kills and/or just sat on the body until they gave up and we killed them. We’ve also had moments where, after solidly on our way to out playing our opponents (moving better, hitting our shots, etc.) the revive bolt unfairly won them the fight. At the end of the day, the real problem is that it gets you up with full health. If that’s gone, it’s totally fine.

Are you sure is the bolt the one that rez you at full hp? Because remember there is a perk that makes you revive at full hp and could be that, and even if the bolt didnt rez you at full hp you could use that perk and would be exactly the same...

​@@Bao598Resilience is the perk you're thinking of I believe, but you get revived with full health minus the chunk you lost from getting killed. The revive bolt appears to ignore all that and just revive you with full bars entirely, including the one you were supposed to lose from getting killed.

@@SirGrimLockSmithVIII lol i didnt know that, can be a bug or restoration thing? Like the one that gives you restoration after killing a hunter without having full hp? Idk if that's the case then it needs to be fixed, but it still doesnt seems op for me...

@@Bao598 could be. @ni94tmar3 brings up a good point too in that the bolt might be acknowledging the presence of Relentless. I actually haven't encountered or unlocked the revive bolt myself so I'm just throwing ideas at the wall.

Good we quit playing that game. Had 3600hrs fun over the last years but this is the most stupid thing i have ever seen. They destroyed am awesome game.

HORRIBLE , restoration up all the time its now like battlefield,, hunt has lost what made it unique .this game in one way got better and in other ways got worse. not enjoying this game now days

this game is so bad nowadays its beyond a joke now really...Crytek just doing things people never ever asked for and still they couldn't patch their bugs and provide 66 or 100 tickrate servers...i hope the game dies soon
