I'm a dev and I can 100% say this is true, I still havent made a viral game but I've made over 20 and I can say every single 1 of them has taught me something, I can't script yet but I can model in blender and right now I'm doing commissions for robux for ads cause you need about 75k to pop up ur game, so you don't even have to make a game to become successful.

i am a Roblox developer who has been scripting since i was 12, i am currently 20. I have worked on some decent games with around 2-3k ccu, and had one game blow up when i was 14 - 15, i can say i broke code and fixed it and even advanced on it, i spent days struggling over one simple fix just for me to realize i wasn't seeing it in the right perspective, people think this is easy, but in reality, I never finished a game in 8 years, and it's a struggle for me. I guess I'm just trying to find the right idea that fits me, because I focus more on fun rather than monetary gain.
