Yea man, sales are just awful at this point. Everything is turning out to be a -ev besides vintage mint and some Modern mint. This may be because everyone is cutting back tho. Most people are broke right now, I heard something like 40% of Americans have less then 400$

Tried winning a 1st edition psa 5 zard you listed and couldn’t believe it went past 5-6k !! So far the auctions in my opinion are off the chain! I do see the 1st edition shadowless cards doing the best because to be honest I just don’t see the supply !!? I see very few holo 1st Ed shadowless base set cards for sale at all via auction!? It’s mostly buy it now options that are 100% higher. So auctions are for sure the move for sellers to be liquid! Thanks for your video I hope to get a 1st Ed Zard from you soon ! You are a name the community trusts! And yeah people bidding 3k on 1st Ed zards with no feedback that aren’t even clean or straight cards… amazing to me how competitive it’s getting.. bubble ? Probably not.. just less supply IMO. I think it’s funny you mentioned people paying for others to search and that makes sense because it’s SO time consuming to search constantly. You’ve got to be on top of it in the hobby now. You make great points man. I spent 10k on first edition single graded slabs this month and barely completed the set without even getting the big 3 yet.. god I wish I had bought like you a few years ago. I hope you are right about it not losing value. I decided to build an entire base set 1st edition that is all graded for exactly the reason you stated. It’s so expensive to grade makes no sense to hunt cards and send them in. If market drops I’ll be inhaling too! I will say this year and last I was buying whatever theme deck I could get my hands on.. it’s been a fantastic investment so far. Mercari sales are really nice and most decks I sell have been used not even new! It’s nuts!! I really enjoyed this video man. So great to hear talks on the market. Thank you thank you for your insight! All in all- regardless of market or price I love feeling young again. 27 ain’t old but I feel like collecting has given me back a feeling of endless possibilities. I think other collectors can relate this too

as a buyer times are great as seller not so much at least for my experience lately anyway the whole ebay promoted listings thing really changed the game I used to get several hundred views on my lists in 1 day on even low profile items Now I'm seeing 13-30 views a day on high profile listings
