Summary: Gunnah Kia tu darna kia (Are sins that bad?) "How can I live a life free of sins? It may not be possible. Every person is a sinner, but those who constantly hold themselves accountable for their sins are on the right track. Backbiting is stealing someone's honor, and it is one of the major sins. Leaving prayer is a major sin. Prayer is what distinguishes us Muslims from non-Muslims. The companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) were very sensitive to sins. If you find praying difficult, but have the right attitude and perseverance, Allah will reward you.. Show more modesty to your Lord than to the leader of your tribe. This is a time of trials; set goals for righteousness, but make sure they are achievable. For example, someone who doesn't pray should start praying because this is achievable goal. The essential prayer of Surah Al-Fatiha is "Guide us to the straight path." Faith is present in every individual; it needs to be stirred, just as stirring sugar in tea makes it sweet, stirring faith makes it taste in our hearts sweeter. There are many steps we can take : someone who repents for their sins and expresses gratitude is on the right track. If you are saddened by your past sins do this: 1. Seek forgiveness, saying Astaghfar, 2. Abandon sin, 3. Engage in good deeds frequently. You cannot enter paradise with sins; those who perform righteous deeds will be blessed. Prayer is a gift; we generally enjoy gifts, so why not enjoy prayer? There's a Hadith: Two people who are being taken to hell, one will look back and say, "O Allah! I thought you are merciful" and then Allah will command to take him to paradise. The other person being taken swiftly to hell, Allah will question, "Why are you rushing?" The person will reply, "I didn't obey Your commands throughout my life; today, I'm just obeying Your command." Then Allah will command to admit him to paradise as well for these words. How will people be forgiven on the Day of Judgment? Allah's mercy will forgive sins and protects them from hellfire. Pray abundantly for Allah's mercy. Mercy exists in this world too, it's from Allah, and there are 99 parts of His mercy with Him. There's a Hadith: A Muslim will be in hellfire, then Allah's mercy will overcome, and the person will be brought out, crawling and blackened. Allah will ask, admit your sins" and the person will refuse, saying, "I did not committed sins because he had fear that ALLAH will order for me hell again. Then Allah will show his sins, Then Allah will say, "My angels, bear witness that this person admitted his sins," and then the person will start admitting sin.At this time prophet pbuh laughed while mentioning this and said i laughed because ALLAH will laugh too, and then the person will be admitted to paradise. Those deserving mercy are those who bring a pure heart, admit their sins, are humble, and return to Allah after committing sins repeatedly in this world. When people start thinking highly of themselves or their wealth, it leads to destruction. Respect comes to a person when they obey Allah's commands. Don't feel safe about your past sins, don't feel safe about your future life, and don't be complacent about your religiousness, as perhaps you might deviate in the coming days. How to reduce sins in this world? First, acknowledge what sin is. Ibrahim ibn Adam advised a man who sought advice from him, that you can commit sin where Allah couldn't see him, If you won’t eat the sustenance provided by Allah before committing sins, or doesn't live on His earth before committing sins, if angels on the Day of Judgment can't stop him from going to hell, then that man replied i can’t escape from any of these, then ibrahim ibn adam said so stop committing sins. Start performing abundant good deeds, engage in solitary worship, give charity, don't judge others, respect your parents. n Khurasan, there were fighters who were being trained in front of an army. One of them died, and later appeared in a dream saying, "Allah forgave me because of sincere thought. I intended to help the Prophet Muhammad against disbelievers using this army if I was alive in his pbuh time." Even though the deed seemed small, the intention was pure, so Allah forgave him. The evil effects of sin affect one's sustenance and knowledge; memory decreases. A Muslim and a believer are like a bouncing ball, they bounce back even higher when they fall from their status. Seek forgiveness and repentance from sins for Allah's closeness. Then all your bad deeds will convert into good deeds. After embracing religion, when minor mistakes start feeling major, it indicates achieving piety. Adam (peace be upon him) came to this world due to a sin, but bounced back to paradise like a bouncing ball mentioned above. Satan makes you despondent after committing sins, but remember, if Allah doesn't forgive, who will? Be harsh on yourself due to sins, not on others. Pray, "O Allah! Make my faults appear small in my eyes but big in the eyes of others." Whoever finds Ramadan but doesn't get his sins forgiven is indeed a loser; the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said "Ameen" to this.

Kindly share the reference of this saying moreover while sharing any hadees always give reference to that particular hadees . Sheikh I've been doing sins for a very long time.Everytime i try to avoid sins, a terrible thought comes in my head. That is me doing sins is justified because of all the bad experiences & hardships i have been facing all my life. I don’t see a single phase of my life which i can say was happy, I aint happy with anything at all this life has offered me. Every element of my life is bad. I am an epitome of sadness & Loneliness. I prayed a lot to Allah to help me get out of the hell I'm living in, but things remain same.I am 24 now & 99% of this lifespan is clearly bad.
