Are Staccato handguns worth the money?

My issue with these is the fact that they're a duty gun. I'm an armorer for a PD and I can tell you I have guys not doing the best job maintaining their Glocks. Most agencies qualify once a year including us. That being said, we train once or twice a year, one being more focused on rifle, and the other more focused on pistol. so you're looking at a 6-8 hour day once a year. They are free to come get ammo and train on their own, but few rarely do. Also our marine unit gets their pistols wet often and I have to take them apart and put them in the ultrasonic cleaner. Being an armorer for Glock is fairly easy too. These require more armorer skill. They are also SO much more costly, and it's hard for agencies to get these for all their officers. We are looking at $500 for Glocks vs $2500 for these. They just aren't viable as duty guns unless agency allows them to carry whatever they want.

I've been a stacatto/ STI fan for just five years. Once you buy one, you'll want all of them. I actually shoot the C2 the best, even better than the old school DVC3 and the XC.

1911s/ 2011s dont generally like short, flat nosed bullets. They create issues. Having said that, my XC is surprisingly not picky on ammo. Strange. I ditched the 7lb recoil spring for a 10lb spring for reliability shooting in the co nditions I will operate in. Read, im lazy and dont like to clean my pistols often. That and the 7lb spring seemed, well, lacking. The STI/ Staccato 2011s I've owned have been excellent guns. Ive carried all on duty and they're all duty reliable and a joy to shoot. They are not magical, they impart no mystical qualities to the shooter, other than making you look cool. They are, however, very good tools that youll enjoy using and will serve you and your descendants for many years. There's nothing like the single action trigger and no better single action auto than the 1911/2011 in my opinion. Staccato makes a damn fine 2011 thats compared regularly to many much more expensive offerings. And if you read all that and thought about yer glock, well, pearls before swine.😂 Kidding. Lighten up.

I don't see how the C-2 isn't a duty type as it is virtually the same size as a Glock 19. Is it worth the money. Kinda. Kinda not. Enjoy the DLC finish which in a premium finish. Don't appreciate the drop in fire control system and don't appreciate the way the hammer is wearing away by contact with the feed rain in the slide. Looks like a cheap low quality MIM part. understand it is not but rather a fully machined part. If true and I don't doubt it is, someone forgot to properly heat treat it! I will replace with Atlas parts. Yes, I knw that will void the warranty, but if quality, no warranty is needed. And there is nothing I can't do in a 1911/2011 than can do and apparently better. 9 months old C-2 no +P or +P+ and it rattles like an old WWII military issue 1911. Not impressed so far! Not for the money.

No comparison of the guns, no comparison of the weights, no comparisons of the triggers, no comparisons of the grips, no comparisons of the barrels....etc....I'm no expert but this was a wasted opportunity and possibly one of the worst video's I've seen. 3 great guns and all that was said was they shoot nice and are expensive--duh - do better, take this feedback and up your game......
