I"m a retired Navy Seabee and a former New York State Trooper so when a friend of mine introduced me to his Staccato C2, I had to own one. I bought mine back in Feb 22 and fired it at both indoor and outdoor tactical ranges here in Texas. I live in Georgetown Texas which is where these handguns are made!!! I live about 2 miles from where they are manufactured so of course, I had to tour the facility. I was fascinated with what I say and was more impressed with the enthusiasm that all the employees displayed. Each one that wasn't fully engaged in what they were doing, greeted and welcomed me to their work station and gave a brief explanation and answered all my questions!. I'm sold on their precision, their professionalism, and everything that Staccato stands for. Great video Guns Out and they are well worth every dime you pay for them. Thanks! Doug Teague

As an African American, I appreciate Staccato openening thier doors to you guys and doing this video. The fact that the entire company welcomed you guys, from the CEO on down, is actually pushing me off the fence to make my first Staccato purchase. Tony Pignato has been at every Texas held tactical games that I've attended. His passion and commitment to people regardless of what pistol they carry, is what won me over. I was a die hard Glock guy, but I quickly realized that my loyalty was skewed, because I'd NEVER received service like what I witnessed Tony provide to the athletes at TTG's. After buying the P Duo, all my reasons for NOT choosing Staccato(weight, cost), quickly dissolved as my shooting under duress improved dramatically. Staccato has won me over. My Glocks feel like toys now. Not dissing Glock. Still a great tool to have, but I'm not buying any more of them. Why would I? By the time I stipple, change trigger, sights, barrel, blah blah blah, I could have had a smoother shooting pistol right out of the box with Staccato. Great video.

You don’t need to change the parts on a Glock. It smooths out at and past 500 rounds… trigger becomes sweet, crisp, and smooth. Don’t really know where this whole “need to change it outta the box” mentality came from. What you need isn’t a new sight or a new gun, it’s more ammo and trigger time.

I am a Glock fanboy and owned many other brands, but my Staccato P2 DUO is my favorite pistol of all. Everything about this pistol is perfect to me. It`s not for everyone though. If you are just starting out and can`t really tell the accuracy differences between handguns than it`s not for you. If your current pistol is holding you back and you have the funds, then by all means step up to the Staccato. You won`t regret it.

Just bought a C2 today after I rented one at the range and shot it. I was at the range to make sure a couple of 15 round mags I bought for my 229 ran OK and rented and shot the Staccato and ended up buying one. It's also cool because I live in Round Rock about 25 minutes from the factory in Georgetown.

I'm no competitor. The first range trip w/ the C2 as soon as after getting the dot zeroed on paper. I was able to shoot a whole mag as fast as that range allows, and only missed 1 or 2 on the steel targets from 20yd to 50yd(mix of 10" plates and small torsos). After a few mags, I had to force myself to slow down between shots to please the RO. Amazing carry piece! You can be so much better with the same level of training and skill.

I'm a relatively recent retiree with a 10 year local law enforcement career and a 22 year DEA career behind me. I'm old (ok only late 50's but I started at 20)... so I've progressed from a S&W 4" .38 revolver, to a Beretta 92F, through a series of many many Glocks. I bought my first 1911 about 2 years before retiring. I've probably owned or been assigned over a dozen different handguns over that 32 years and recently purchased my first Staccato (a CS) in retirement. I can easily state it is by far the finest pistol I have ever owned. Precision, reliability, function, it has it all. I have to admit, I now itch to own a full-size... but I'm still loving the CS. Money well spent.

I have the c2 duo with rmr and I love it. Ive also shot a c2 duo with a delta piont. Both guns shot really well and are super accurate. I would like to try a staccato p with a sro.

I absolutely love my C2 DPO Carry with a Swampfox Sentinel on top. It feels great, shoots great and has an incredible trigger.

@@hurt1704 I got the Carry so not the Tactical. I believe the only difference is the optics cut. The Carry is cut for the smaller footprint optics like the Swampfox Sentinel or Romeo Zero.

While this video is biased, I don’t really care because it’s to be expected whenever you’re given access to a manufacturing facility by the company. I love these behind the scenes looks at how they make what you end up buying. For a guy like me who’s a nerd about this stuff I kinda dig seeing some of the material and processes. I also think that for what you end up getting as an end product a Stacatto isn’t a bad deal. I’m not sure I’d call any 2011 a “good” deal, but for the P model coming in around the $2k-2500 mark is about on par with what a comparable Wilson Combat would cost from what I’ve seen. This style of gun is just inherently going to be more expensive than others due to the material and the hand fitting required to make them what they are.
