I kinda wish I had seen your vids before deciding on the clinic in Medellin. Since I've already paid I'm committed on going but depending upon the results 6-mos. "down the road" from my upcoming procedure I'll definitely look into what your clinic offers. Your vids have been enlightening.

I have been doing my own research on clinics. Panama, Columbia and thought they were my only choice. I don't know if you have used MSC on osteoarthritis I also found out I have spinal stenosis (just like Tony Robbins who was cured of this in Panama) and would like to know any success stories in regards to those issues. Thank you, Joy.

@@cktkb interesting Well my injection of my own fat derived stem cells was 2 months ago. About a week ago finally the pain went away and the swelling. Scar tissue still remains. I dont know if i should give the stem cells more time or opt for surgery. Who knows. Maybe a miracle will happen

Science is always a process. Most medications are not safe, as we find out more and more problems as more and more people start using it. However, plenty of research has been going on for decades all around the world, and the safety record has generally been excellent.

Hi is it true that wharton's jelly contains no living stem cells? I read that whortons jelly umbilical cord derived stem cells that are offered in America contain no living stem cells vs bone marrow. I am interested in treatment at your clinic and I want to know if this is true.
@JoyKongMD
@JoyKongMD 2 жыл бұрын
That is completely false information spread by people who have their own agenda (promoting their own form of stem cell therapy using autologous source - from a person’s own body). While some company’s Wharton’s Jelly product is subpar and may contain no live cells, credible companies produce products that are 3rd party tested to contain live cells.

Our clinic uses stem cell product that is the most comprehensive and potent among current stem cell products on the market, and 3rd party testing demonstrates live cells and even colony formation on CFU assay (the definitive test). If you already received stem cell treatment, the best person to answer whether it’s helping your life is you… I don’t know how the stem cells were given and what kind of stem cells, or what your health issues are besides the sports injury, so it is hard to answer…

Great channel and content, Dr. Kong. Question: which procedure would YOU do if you were treating a bulging disc? You've mentioned various methods in your videos, but something like a cervical disc repair; if it were you, which kind of procedure would you go with?
@JoyKongMD
@JoyKongMD 8 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words. Bulging discs can be challenging as there are also mechanical aspects involved, which need to be addressed. From a local inflammation and lacking of regenerative abilities' perspective (Which eventually leads to disc degeneration), we can inject stem cells into the disk itself, or in the neighboring regions to reduce neural inflammation and help with disc regeneration .

I own an integrated practice in Connecticut and stopped doing MSC stem cells a couple of years ago when the FDA supposedly put the brakes on it. Most clinics I know also stopped because of a statement / letter the the FDA put out. Even attorneys were recommending to stay away from these products and if you were to continue, to never use the term “stem cells” again. Sounds like you are not having issues and we’d love to get back to it. The other challenge is finding an MD or NP who is willing to do it. New England is much more conservative and they all say that it’s not worth risking their medical license. We are currently just using PRP for joints and in our IV room, we are doing UBI/ozone (which is a phenomenal product). Do you know clinics that have taken your training and using your products in the North East? Can you send me info on your provider training please? I just discovered your videos via your Brian Clement interview (big fan of HHI) and so glad I did. I’d love to get back into stem cells and Exosomes (IV). Any thoughts appreciated.

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately many doctors stopped providing stem cell therapy due to fear, which was their original intent anyhow. The people who suffered are the patients... I am happy to discuss with you and help you through the process, as I help many other physicians navigate and provide the best treatment… please email me directly at joykongmd@gmail.com. Also please check out www.AAICT.org where there is a stem cell training course called “Fundamentals of Stem Cell Practice” that practitioners have found valuable. I offer a mentorship program as well. Maybe this video can shed some more light: Stem Cell Therapy - Info for Providers kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioGbqIJpid2tjqM

What is the difference between pluripotent stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells?
@JoyKongMD
@JoyKongMD Жыл бұрын
Pluripotent stem cells can develop into cells of all types of tissue in the body, whereas mesenchymal stem cells tends to develop into cells of less varieties - losing some of the potentials… that’s the main difference. Maybe this video will help: Are All MSCs Created Equal? ‪kzbin.info/www/bejne/laTVoKGafrqpd6s‬

I’m wondering if you could help me understand how exactly your treatments fit into the “homologous use” guidelines issued by the FDA in July 2020. One example in particular seems to rule out your IV treatments: Section IV. Question 3. Example 19-1.C. “HPC’s from cord blood are intended for intravenous infusion to treat cerebral palsy purportedly through the repair of damaged tissue in the brain through paracrine signaling or differentiation into neuronal cells. This is not homologous use because there is insufficient evidence to support that the repair of neurologic tissue through paracrine signaling or differentiation into neuronal cells is a basic function of these cells in the donor.” Please and thanks!
@JoyKongMD
@JoyKongMD 8 ай бұрын
The idea of "homologous" use is in a sense arbitrary. It really means what the cells were doing in the body of the donor is pretty similar to what the cells is doing in the recipient, saying it in plain language. So, if you look at what the cord blood cells are doing and what MSCs were doing prior to transplantation, the cord blood cells float around in the blood exerting effects of what they do in the blood, and MSCs hover over hugging the blood vessels until signals trigger them to get into the blood to find out where the signals come from and then go over there to exert their effects... In that sense, IV administration of cord blood cells and MSCs allow the cells to perform the functions they were performing in the donor, thus making them kind of homologous in some people's eyes... And thank you for citing all the sections of the FDA document which I am very familiar with and have read through multiple times. I am also a physician, and many of the practices in medicine are established by "evidence" - either research or clinical evidence... and IV administration of stem cells have been established as an effective treatment through numerous research studies from around the world, easily making it an evolving new standard.:) FDA is not necessarily the decider of medical practices. Medical boards and peer physician groups are. The final judge is how the patients do, which physicians have the ultimate responsibilities for.❤️
