Are TEMU tools any good? Is the KNIPEX ERGOSTRIP really worth four times the price of a Chinese copy

A little tip for getting the camera to focus on a specific point is to put your hand behind the object to act as a background, it forces the camera to adjust its focus. 👍👍

I'm an apprentice and a colleague of mine gave me his tool from Parkside and he said that he got it quite cheap and I was wondering why the Knipex version costs around 10 times more in comparison. The thing is that there are so many tools for wire stripping that I'm not really sure which one or ones to buy and which to ignore. A friend of mine got a Knipex pistol for stripping wires and he said that he has no need for this type of tool and I still need to make up my mind and pick one or perhaps both. My Knipex 13 72 8 have arrived yesterday and I can't wait to use them next week.

Tools, tools, and more tools! There are some great tools, and there are some crap tools! The genuine ergostrip is great. For everyday wire stripping, I have always used CK Combi's - 160 mm. I have used them since I was an apprentice, no need for anything else.

Would the fact one if left hand and the other right hand be why the side blade isn’t working as well?

No. The blade on the Chinese copy just isn't the same as the genuine Knipex Ergostrip and doesn't penetrate the cable sheathing.

The difference between the two tools, is that one of them makes You a thief. Somebody have combined years of experience into the tool, the other one used 4 hours copying it....

Pretty much! Also, one is manufactured by a reputable firm who should be vetting where it comes from. The other could be made by child labour for all we know, zero guarantees on material or labour.

firstly i spent 8 dollars for chinese crap and then decided i need genuine one for 45. clone cannot compare with original in build quality, blade gaps, etc. some of blades were so loosely fixed, that i had found them apart of main tool in the package. black fixing toggle also does not working as intended. its real garbage, trust me..

😂 no, English speakers generally call it "Nipex" because it makes sense to us to do that. Even though its not actually the brand name or their pronunciation. Also, Coka cola 😂 Do you mean "Coke?" Or Coca Cola?
