Counterpoints for unusual hats 1. Unusual hats give more personality to your character than a skin or any australium. You can express more by showing what hat/effect you like vs what skin you like, which doesn't say anything other than you use that weapon. 2. Unusual weapons lock you to that playstyle with that weapon, while unusual hats can be seen and shown at all time. If you want to use a different weapon, then you wouldn't be able to use your unusual weapon 3. Cost/rarity. Unusual weapons are normally much more expensive than an unusual hat, and cost much more to get. If you want a specific war paint/ effect it'll be much harder to find, or much more expensive as you would have to buy it as a war paint. hi ebico

Nah unusuals are better than weapon skins it’s more unique than something done in every other game. People literally pay x10 more for a stupid knife skin in csgo that to me is a waste of absolute money.
