In fairness to the Invincibles, they did have harder opponents than modern day teams like Liverpool and City. Also, going unbeaten for 38 games week in week out is incredibly difficult and can take a toll on several players fitness. I think its showing with Liverpool and their recent form. Edit: Reading the comments, I do get the arguments that suggest Liverpool had it harder. As a 12 year old who started watching football at 4, I have never actually seen the invincibles play. My comments are just what I've gathered reading other's opinions. Being a Gooner, Liverpool are the best team i have probably ever seen in the prem, and i have a huge amount of respect for Klopp, who, within a few years brought Liverpool back to their 70's form.

Being invincible is difficult without question, however being invincible with 30+% draws would indicate that they weren't all that. Liverpool won 26 of 28, the invincibles won 26 of 38. The invincible mark is certainly a selling point but Liverpool's point pace of 107 or so is an entirely different story than the 90 Arsenal got.
