Super cool video. As a writer, I can say that its a bit of the impression of the environment around you, but also a bit of the impression of the environment within you, and also how the environment around and within is treated by the "artist" and by those around them. That's such a deep question, when it comes to art and being an artist (is it nurture or nature?), but it may come down to the individual and to their human experience. I believe that no matter what, although you may be born with a desire and with a passion and with talent, life has to pull that out of you in order for you to see the brilliance that is within you, and the environment around and also within, I just can't separate them. Maybe it is both nature and nurture that shapes the artist.

Definitely it is both! Life circumstances pulls that out of you as you said, but allowing that to happen is left to human will and that power right there might be coming from within.
