Jaden Hicks looks amazing when he’s out there. Our pass coverage has been horrific. Losing Watson definitely changed our defense big time

I've developed the take that our defense has a lot of really good players, but, we don't have any playmakers on that side. Chris Jones is still solid, I agree, but we're paying him 30mil/year and he only has 3 sacks. Trent McDuffie is a technician, and he can mirror routes really well, but he literally doesn't have a single interception yet in his career. Justin Reid is well paid, and he's a great leader on and off the field, but his play isn't THAT impactful. Nick Bolton is another super smart, great leader type guy, but he gets taken advantage of in coverage, doesn't she'd and get off blocks very well, and doesn't have the speed or explosion to trigger down hill quickly enough to get sacks or TFLs very often. I could keep going, but you get it .. we have got to figure out a way to create more havoc plays, more negative plays for the opposition, other than a run stuff play for little to no yards. We need some sacks. We need to start punching the ball out. And we need some freaking interceptions. Feels like we don't force turnovers at near the rate other teams are able to

Very good points. The turnover point couldn’t be true enough. Watching around the league you see defensive players punching the ball out I never see our defense do it enough. I know they have but not nearly enough as we would like to see.

The French film 12 monkeys is based on is La Jetee, which is absolutely brilliant. Also hoping that Omenehu really is the element that gets the pass rush going.

Our defense really hasn’t been able to do anything. Even when our pass rush gets home, we go past the QB. We can’t pass cover to save our lives. It’s just the same movie every week. It went from the first drive of the game to the first half to know the whole game

Offensively, the O line just needs to buckle down and give Mahomes that extra second, LT definitely has to improve. Defensively , hopefully Oninihu comes back strong and draws the double teams away from C Jones. And then the DB play won’t be such a worry.

I believe that a lot of the issues we’ve seen out of the team is the unnecessary pressure they’ve put on themselves trying to be perfect for the third championship. If they would relax a little and get back to the fun side of football they can beat everyone.
