The Crusaders were never gone, they were just pretending to play poorly to fool the other teams into taking them lightly. It's a brilliant strategy.

Yeah....never mind the embarrassment of LOSING week after week, having to put up with the hurtful online comments about the Coach and the team. BUT....Crusader fans could always trot out the..."7 titles" in a row, and still counting twaddle to cover that embarrassment.The Crusaders are too good a Club, organization and their culture is too strong for them to NEVER be a threat. They WILL ALWAYS be a threat.

Can we settle down on the Crusaders? They beat the Rebels, and yes they might have been top 4 but come on, doesn't anyone actually believe the Rebels are any good. Anytime they played against a proper team they've been destroyed. The Blues were relentless and brutal against the Brumbies, against the Reds there didn't quite seem to be the same flow and mistakes crept into their game but the sign of a good side is winning when playing below your usual standard. The Hurricanes I think have been a little overrated throughout the season, yes they have played excellently well so far but they still have the Blues and Chiefs to come both away from home, that will be the true test of where they are at. It's like last season when they started so well against all the also-rans and then were clearly the 4th best NZ team once they came up against the big boys, we'll see if they've improved on that this year.

Jeffs right - Finau's technique is fine its his timing, 2 of the 3 tackles shown and had penalties for was when the ball was already passed. At international level he'd get a yellow - a costly mistake at that level. If he cleans that up he'll be the next Jerome!!!!

The tackle is not only about technique it is also about the safety of the other players. If that was done to you, you wouldn’t like being in a coma at the hospital. So think about other people. That was a bad tackle. He is late, with force. He should be rightly punished.

Are ya? Why? He is about as inane as a block of wood. He talks some absolute nonsense. Example; His comment that if the Crusaders had played like that, they would be considered as title contenders, but if the Blues put on a good performance, they aren't.. The Blues look good against some opposition, but in finals time against proper opponents, they look fragile. That is why. It's something the Blues need to learn to do.
