Disney should leave OLC alone and let them keep Splash Mountain as long as they want

OLC has seen the fact that there was a large amount of backlash in the US over this change. It was completely pointless and unnecessary. Splash Mountain was a fan favorite that millions loved. They would get backlash in Japan too.

I mean Song of the South outside of the US is beloved by many especially since you can still view it in Japan, so there would be no reason to take it out with an audience familiar to the film

The storytelling, music, animation, and the impressive live-action combination with animation, was very impressive. Tony Baxter said those elements were why he beloved those aspects were theme-park worthy. The problem is that the live action scenes were what made it infamously criticized and considered racist. I would argue that the Splash Mountain attraction focused on the positive aspects, and I don’t agree with the removal. The problem was that too many people perceived racism anywhere around it.
