Had Archer been fully fit, he along with Wood and Atkinson would have been the most potent fast bowling attack. Bumrah has just come back from injury and Shami can leak runs.

Disagree with Pdogg here. I understand Pdogg wants Proteas to be part of Semi but thrashing Eng with this kind of criticism is Unfair. Eng may not have a great bowling but they do have strong batting depth to take them through in Indian pitches. Not only England, all teams bowlers are gonna struggle in Indian pitches. Now I would want Eng to finish the WC cup well this year too.

Hi Sir, I would partially agree (35%) to your prediction on England, I have been following you from Ash na's channel and most of your comments were absolutely correct. As England fan I feel this team is for sure a semi candidate with the squad they have. Also i feel india vs England in Final. England had worked on this squad for a long time considering Indian conditions and the batting looks strong comparing to any side. England can’t recover from early wickets? Time and again we’ve seen England recover from 9/2 to post massive scores or from 30/4 to post 260 odd and go on to win the game. Last year Australia’s tracks were slow due to rains (except Adelaide) and England did win the t20 wc purely with their bowling. Except the India game they hardly flexed their batting strength. Big fan of Pdogg but felt the analysis was very harsh on England and not data driven 😢 I still rate England highly to make it to the knockouts. England have won tournaments where they are scratchy early on (wc19 and t20 wc 22) and get knocked out in tournaments they absolutely roll over opponents (CT17, T20wc 21), so having a tough group stage might help England do better on batting tracks of Mumbai and Ahmedabad come the knockouts :)

Even though their batting looks amazing, however I can see weakness in their bowling… they have only one legit spinner in adil rashid (moeen Ali and livingtone are more like part-timers) and one very good bowler in mark wood… Chris woakes is a good 135kph bowler, other bowlers don’t seem intimidating… 💯 % agree with pdogg 👍👍… England will win matches on flatter wickets but in pace/bouncy and in spin conditions they may struggle… remember majority of matches they played in 2019 WC were dead flat pitches… as an Indian fan I’m happy Jason Roy and jofra archer won’t play 😅

I completely disagree pdogg this time. We recently seen how eng bounce back 55 for 5, Livingstone and Curran played exceptionally well against stong NZ bowling attack. We already seen in wc 19 final also. They have capable of playing both malan, root, stokes, buttler now Curran and Livingstone shown promise. Besides they have strong lower order batters as well. Only Archer is missing though they hav decent bowling as well. This side >> wc 19 side. From playing 11, 10 batting option and 8 bowling option what u need then. If u analyse this way no team will be favourites😅.
