This season could be a real dumpster fire. If BI pouts cause his scoring is down and he dogs it, any trade value he had is gone. I can only hope that BI comes in knowing that he needs to prove that he deserves a max contract and balls out

Hawkins was drafted to work off ball. That's what he is. Why try to make him something else. His handle is still good enough to attack close outs, but he's not a lead guard. Plus, he's a pretty good vertical athlete. Not worried. Liked what I saw from Reeves and thought Ford, though smallish, showed some good skills as a primary ball handler/scorer...

To be honest I think Reaves is better than Hawkins. He’s a very limited player and his shot is not as money as we like to make it out to be. He has the reputation but that’s from college. I think Reaves takes mins from him and I’m hoping it happens. We may need to trade Hawk while his value is there

Dudes… Missi should be the defacto starting big with Karlo in the Nance role and lastly, Theis in the Cody Zeller 3rd big role. You go on and on about how Missi just needs reps but then you say Theis will be the starter? Missi is the future and needs to play with the starters on day 1.

There is a good chance Missi is out the league in a few years. What kills him is his lack of rebounding for a player his size. Rebounding isn’t something players develop much. It’s largely skill you already come into the league with a natural knack for. If he can develop a three, maybe he can stick around. No one will want a true center who can’t rebound or shoot threes though.

Zion had best in NBA potential before the lack of an intelligent training staff and his own effort destroyed that. There is still top 10 potential left, but it will require both of the above to be fixed.
