They should be overlooked. Other teams are getting better and Suns or not. Dead until Beal leaves

16 teams will compete for a chip, it’s really hard to see the suns being one especially after this season,

I think it's painfully easy to see them in the hunt now that they have a coach who was allowed to pick his own staff and KD/Nurk have shown they can stay healthy. Last year was an expansion team with All-NBA talent and they still won 49 games. Why wouldn't it get better? They only need like 3 moves and they're guaranteed one because they have their own first round pick this year. Getting Damion Lee back, who was among the league leaders in 3 point shooting last year, will also help fill in the hole EG leaves. From there it's just a matter of using the last bit of asset to find whatever hole wasn't filled in the draft.

I'm a glass-half-empty guy when it comes to the current version of the Suns. So I guess I'm on team Bo, sorry to say. I would like to be pleasantly surprised next May but I just can't see it. At least getting Bud was a move in the right direction but it's ultimately going to come down to the players.

The guy is right ,KD can score 40 and it's a waste of time. He's not a difference maker .99 percent of his shots are contested ,and less than 10 percent are at the rim . The team offensively is soft , you need easier shots ,how many times was Tatum and Brown even Holiday getting to the rim ,even with all the 3s. Phoenix doesn't get the layups and dunks ,or the 3s either. It's all tough mid range crap . They're not even competitive with the times = 3s free throws layups 🔥

And Mike B’s whole concept and identity offensively in his concept offense is touching the paint and shooting 3’s Only time will tell if they buy in to getting in the pant and putting them up.

Then wtf are book shots then cuz kd and him take the same shots and you said kd can score 40 and mean nothing like we haven’t seen the same for booker yall suns fans just wanna ride book and the cut kd like hes not the best on the team and the only nga that preformed in the playoffs 🤦🏾‍♂️

Coming to a conclusion about this coming up Suns teams right now is insane anyway, new coach, and they haven’t even made an offseason move yet Tf are we talking about😂😂, hell the Draft is even a week away basing this year off last year is crazy . I get the discussion but can we let some player chips fall first, all the chips that have fallen have been front office lol

No, but they aren't legitimate title contenders. One of the biggest mistakes this organization does every season and playoff exit is major roster turnover and ignoring balance between offense and defense. You have your big three and a coach with championship experience who learned under gregg popovitch over the course of seventeen years as part of the spurs championship dynasty and then winning his own title as coach of the bucks. Now, you need to upgrade your bench and add depth. You need a pointguard that can run the offense , handle the ball( limiting turnovers and bad passes) and let the big thred focus on attacking the defense. Beal would be better off the bench as instant offense. You need a power forward enforcer like adem bona or dayron holmes( holmes would be best at power forward) you need to sign a backup center behind nurkic like andre drummond or jonas valanciunas. Or you could draft yves missi or zac edy to strengthen the frontline. Re-sign bol. Looks like gordon and eubanks are gone. Finding a wing like ryan dunn in the second round could replace the defensive skillset of bridges. Maybe also look to add kj martin to replace eric gordon and we are ready to realistically challenge in the west.

Yes I think so. From the trajectory pattern since the Finals run. It’s possible we don’t make the playoffs this next season.

There is too much talent to miss the playoffs entirely even beyond the Big 3, and that's RIGHT NOW. They may be on a treadmill but def not in lotto territory or anywhere close.

@@coreysanders6908 That's defintiely fair, but I think it'll be a lot easier to find the 7-10 they need even with the limited assets they have now, compared to last offseason where they did a hard reboot and tried too hard to placate KY by making him Vogel's sidekick who he competed with for the HC spot.

The other thing is the teams that have won the Finals the last few years have had help from their bench. Poole for the warriors, Brown for the Nuggets, and now the Celtics. We can’t rely on only the top three players.

Find a true starting forward to put next to KD and Grayson Allen is that guy.
