As a car guy, I never thought a car could become an idol. Until I bought a Ford Fiesta ST. The most fun thing I ever bought with money. I had owned 57 cars, before I bought it. I had plenty of opportunities to turn a car into an idol, never a problem before. It became my drug of choice. An adrenaline needle. My family left for a week, and the Holy Spirit went to work. After many tears, and discussions - I said OK God I will sell it. One of the hardest things I have had to do.

Dr. Evans, am I still considered a fool if I've been praying and giving my cares to God FIRST, but then I emailed my id protection agency to inform them as to what was happening? Is it okay to ask the church for discipleship classes and food? That seems wrong, I guess? I'm just so unbelievably frustrated when I had money for an important bill and now it will ruin my credit, leaving me immobilized and stuck in a bad situation with no escape. I know I need to be still and wait patiently for the Lord. Have I cancelled out what God is doing? I haven't spoken to the church yet. God has always provided when I'm starving. Is it okay to ask for assistance from a food bank? Or just wait?

The idols of the nations are high and lifted up on a flag pole, and the blind cannot see them because of their UNBELIEF! The star spangle of heaven is the the god of the US. The star remphan of heaven is the god of Israel. [ Acts 7:43 ] The sun of heaven is the god of Japan. The leaf of the maple tree of the earth is the god of Canada. The eagle of the earth is the god of Mexico. Some nations are worshipping the stars, the moon, and the sun. And others are worshipping birds and four footed beasts of the earth. The idols of wood and stone, were replaced with idols of fabric. The nations made carved images, in the likeness of heaven above, and in the likeness of the earth below, and set the images in the flags, to serve them. Idolatry is through the pledge of allegiance to the flag and anthem. When the nations play the anthem at the sound of music the idol worshippers stand on their feet and praise their idols of the flag with a song. When the king of Babylon the great played the anthem at the sound of music the idol worshippers bowed down to the ground and worshipped the image of the gold statue of the earth. God is against serving or pledging allegiance to OBJECTS, to SYMBOLS, and IMAGES, made in the likeness of anything in heaven above, or made in the likeness of anything in the earth below. [ Exodus 20:3-5 ] & [ Deuteronomy 4:15-19 ] Flags are OBJECTS. Symbols are OBJECTS. Images are OBJECTS.
