This has been MY conclusion. My pastor kept deferring to Thessalonians as the basis for rapture, but teaches it we will miss all the "bad stuff". My theory was, based off my English bible, that we would be around for the destruction but spared the plagues. (Then later I had decided we would be raptured right before the "last trumpet" thinking trumpet judgment) directly impacting us, like Noah in the boat, but still on Earth as it was judged with the flood..but your explanation of the original languages helps so much! Bless you for your explanations and welcoming being challenged! So glad I couldn't sleep one night and you were on Daystar tv in the United States.

Thank you for your teachings. The Greek or Hebrew word explanations are very valuable insights. I also appreciate the discussion of different prophecy interpretation. Rev 6:12-14 is a literal event. John in darkness/night outside observed angels stars)descending (as living creatures, Ezekiel).:14 is what John saw as he was (snatched)transported to another location. :14b John writes a description of what he observed when set down. Every mountain and island were moved out of place (in relation to where he was now standing). Prayers for you, family, and Israel.

I am not yet convinced that the group in Rev 14 is same as in Rev 7: 9; why? - because they are uncountable, whereas 144,000 is quite a precisely defined number. Please help Dr Baruch...you have increased my thirst.

Finally, something I can agree with! Hallelujah! I will agree, there is no scripture anywhere proving a great revival during the tribulation. OF COURSE there will be many that called themselves "Christian" but were never born again, that when they see they were left behind, will get very serious with God and will turn to Him. They will, without a doubt, bring in others. These will be the true "tribulation saints." There is not one word in Revelation proving that the 144,000 become evangelists. It is possible, but it cannot be proved with scripture. Always remember, the rapture will be pretrib, because 6 comes before 7 in counting and the 6th seal start of God's wrath will certainly come before the 7th seal start of the days of tribulation. The rapture will be pretrib because 7 comes before 8 in counting, and John saw the raptured church in heaven and wrote it in chapter 7 as that great crowd, too large to number, while the tribulation will not begin until chapter 8 with the first trumpet judgment.

Rev 7:14 Who are the great number so great no man could count, worshipping God, where did they come from? from out of the GREAT tribulation....so those are not the raptured saints, they are the ones that endured the great tribulation. the raptured saints got to heaven before the trib saints did of course.

So, just because you read the two words, "great tribulation," (GT) you assume these people came out of "those days" of "great tribulation" Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24? (Quotes from Matthew 24) I find that extremely difficult to believe, for two reasons. First, John has not yet started the 70th week in his narrative, must less has he arrived at the abomination that will divide the week. Jesus showed us that the days of GT He spoke of would come after the abomination. Reason two, John shows us the how and why of the days of GT in Rev. 13. The Beast and False Prophet will create an image and force people to bow to it or lose their heads. They will create a mark and force people to either take their mark or lose their heads. Again, in chapter 7, John has not even started the 70th week (It will begin at the 7th seal and with the first trumpet), much less has arrived at the timing of the False Prophet. He shows up some unknown time after the abomination. I'll take "two" back: there are three reasons. This is a crowd too large to number. Just the size of the crowd tells us this is either the Old Testament saints resurrected, or the New testament saints resurrected. Since the OT saints will not be resurrected until "the last day" according to Jesus, this cannot be there. Just imagine: the raptured church may be 50 generations of believers from around 2000 years. No group from the 7 years could come close to that number. I am guessing around 50 billion people. Do you know how long it would take someone to count to a billion, counting 24/7, one count per second? John tells us this group was too large to count. Did you not notice that John used "great tribulation" in chapter 2 in his message to Thyatira, directly to a specific lady in that church? Was Jesus' play to keep her alive for 2000 years? Not at all. The point is, there are other uses of "great tribulation." Many people, when reading about this great crowd, too large to number, imagine the answer to the question will be HOW this great crowd got from earth to heaven. That is not the answer given. What is given is HOW EACH MEMBER of this great crowd became a member of the crowd: they washed their robes in Jesus' book-in other words, they each got born again. And as each one did get born again, they came OUT of a life of tribulation-a life on earth without Christ. It seems God chose to add all that individual tribulation up and chose to call it mega or great. Indeed, if we added up all the bad days of billions of people, we are talking a GREAT many down days of tribulation.

Isn’t verse 14 in Revelations 7, referring to works and faith, which would imply the great trib? Tears are not wiped away until after the white throne judgment? In the age of grace, our faith is all we need in the finished work on the cross.

Rev 7:14 states that the majority of saints who do end up in heaven, get there VIA the tribulation not the rapture, although the raptured saints will get there PRIOR to the trib saints.

seems to me that the 144,000 is referring to the original disciples of Christ during His earthly ministry; these are the ones Jesus prayed about in John 17. Rev 7 tells us how it started and how it ends with the salvation of the nations. Rev 14 shows how spreading of the Gospel began and how it was completed by the angel. Any thoughts???

Very Biblical teaching, brother.. I would contend the second group, in Revelation 14:1-5, are the glorified saints of God, the redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb. This passage is the fulfillment of the vision in Hebrews 12:22-24, the "firstborn who are enrolled in heaven," to God, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant. 1. Both passages describe a scene on Mount Zion, in the heavenly Jerusalem. 2. Both passages picture the glorified/redeemed saints, firstborn/firstfruits in heaven. 3. Both groups are to/for God and Jesus/the Lamb. I believe this same group is previously identified in Revelation 1:5-6; 5:9; and 7:9-17, a kingdom of priests ransomed by the blood of the Lamb from every tribe and language and people and nation, resurrected and raptured out of the great tribulation. I believe the saints still on the earth (the rest of her offspring) after the resurrection/rapture are the foolish virgins described in Matthew 25... Revelation 12:17 Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea. They also are identified in Revelation 14, but in a verse after the resurrected saints in heaven are revealed in v. 1-5... Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!” I believe this group is identified in 1 Corinthians 3 as well as Luke 12... 1 Corinthians 3:14-15 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire. Luke 12:47-48 And that servant who knew his master's will but did not get ready or act according to his will, will receive a severe beating. 48 But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more. Blessings

There won’t be ANY “tribulation saints” because (1) there will be no prophesied tribulation; it’s been canceled by Israel’s unbelief at the close of Acts; and (2) the word, “saints,” only applies to Israel’s relationship with God and those two broke up for good in Acts 28:28-31 KJV. Finito!

It seems better to keep reading the scriptures than to base an opinion in a single verse… specially when there are many others that do not aline with a particular interpretation… I think paul said in romans something like: “first the jews” which, by the way, all the same disciples we know are…. @@fobos9289Thank you for your reply! There’s something vitally important that even pastors are not seeing in the scriptures! I didn’t see it til about a year ago! There were absolutely NO believers like us even ALLOWED into Paul’s churches in Acts (probably even after Acts) for the simple reason that salvation was being sent to “the Jew first, and also to the Greek,” but we are neither of those because unlike the Jews that were still obeying the Mosaic Law even as believers in Jesus Christ (Acts 21:20 KJV), and unlike the Greeks, obediently keeping the Acts 15 ordinances; and both groups having been ordered to do “works meet for repentance,” (Acts 26:20 KJV), pagan Gentiles would not have been allowed to hear the saving gospel and especially not be allowed to be saved by that gospel. Paul held his churches in synagogues so only those that were kosher were admitted into them. Thus, everything they were taught and exhorted to do was based on the fact that they were joined together as a fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy and both the Jewish saints and the God-fearing Greeks would have gone into the prophesied kingdom of Israel IF enough Israelites had accepted the Messiah in order to tip the scales in Israel’s favor. To apply any doctrine from a period during which you and I (and everyone alive today) would not even have been permitted inside any church in Acts is just plain absurd! There’s no way former pagans could even obey the doctrines taught during Acts; they were predicated upon the reconciliation of the Jews back to the Father through the work of the Son! Pagans could not be “reconciled” to a God they never had a relationship with in the first place! When you finally realize that, you then go looking for what God does have for us; and you won’t find it until Acts ends in Israel’s failure to accept the remarriage proposal that God made to her through his beloved Son! God would have had every right to destroy the world he had made and go somewhere else! What he did do was destroy the nation of Israel beginning with allowing what happened in 70 AD and the systematic dying off of the original Hebrew race until their DNA can no longer be found! The other thing he did - and this is crucial for us! - was to conclude the entire unsaved world to be all the same - pagans in need of redemption from Satan, Colossians 3:11 KJV! Paul received the revelation of the mystery beginning with the revelation that salvation would be sent to the Gentiles (not special “mini-Jew Gentiles” like the Greeks of Acts 13:46 KJV) but to the whole world at large! Better yet, for us, the mystery included a brand-new gospel of salvation - Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV - one that was purely a free gift with no works or laws or ordinances attached! God never wanted to give Israel the law in the first place (remember his anger on Sinai?) so he started fresh with a new mystery dispensation of Gentile grace (and we’re ALL Gentiles now no matter what we call ourselves!). Our doctrine of the gift we’ve been offered is found in only two books of scripture: Ephesians and Colossians (the last two doctrinal books written) which will carry the world right to and through the return (appearing), Colossians 3:4 KJV, of Jesus Christ to the earth to receive his inheritance, “the kingdom of [God’s] dear Son, Colossians 1:13 KJV! You can search those two epistles high and low and there is no hint of any of Israel’s end time prophecy from Daniel or Revelation or the four gospels or Hebrews or any other Jewish scripture! The mystery age of Gentile grace takes us right to the return and kingdom of Jesus Christ! There is no “secret rapture” mentioned at all! 1 Thessalonians 4 was written during Acts and it described the second coming the Jews and Greeks were waiting for, so it cannot be applied to us today as there are no Jews or Greeks in God’s eyes today (remember Colossians 3:11?)! I already know that you will try to prove that the church of today has a heavenly hope, etc., because we are already “seated in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 2:6 KJV), but aren’t we “in Christ” and that’s where he is at present? So when he appears back on earth, won’t we be “in him” here? I would love to hear your thoughts or even your objections because I’m a person that is able to change my position when I receive valid information! After all, I wrote a novel about the rapture, trib, Antichrist, second coming to Israel, etc., in 2007, and a publisher picked it up; but I now recant that unbiblical teaching (just like EW Bullinger was also forced to do by a new understanding)!

First of all those preaching rapture do not have Jesus testimony. What exactly did Paul say? According to the word of the Lord the resurrection comes first! This happens when Jesus returns with all of those who keep his testimony and who have died or have been killed by the Antichrist and did not receive his mark. No one precedes the resurrection on the last day when Jesus comes again "or no flesh would survive." Second. The clouds are not those puffy things in the sky and the air is not what we breath! The clouds are those whom are made Holy and the air is clearly defined as Jesus voice! Any other interpretation of clouds and air is earthly and of the devil! "The spirit of the air at work in the disobedient." If the "air" is the voice of this world then Paul speaks the truth, we meet the Lord in the tent of this body into which he breathed upon them and said, "receive the Holy Spirit." And if anyone does not have the Holy Spirit he does not belong to God. It is the Spirit (breath) wind that gives life to the mortal body! Anyone preaching rapture is found to be a false witness and has not seen Jesus as he is! The body that will be is not known except that it is incorruptible (will not follow a stranger's VOICE) and imperishable! For whoever has this hope of the resurrection in them purifies themselves just as he is pure. To those who are corrupt (flesh) heart and mind - nothing is pure! They have not believed Jesus testimony that those who come with him when he returns are not those white puffy things in the sky! They are the spirits of the dead, the flames of fire and the winds in which he dwells on earth! Jesus did not lie when he said plainly, "No one has gone into heaven except the Son of Man."

Pre-Trib Rapture is a LIE. Jesus Himself says “Immediately AFTER those days of the tribulation” He’s coming back to gather together His Elect. Show me ONE scripture where He says B-E-F-O-R-E the tribulation that anyone is going anywhere. And I want to see that word “BEFORE”…
