Reminds me of when one of my friends was angry because he heard that someone said that his mushaf numbers of ayaat was less than what is commonly available, fortunately we have studied fiqh sholat and Al-Fatihah so as an example I said 'Just like in Al-Fatihah which there are differences in ayaat, there are differences in ayaat numberings, you should check the content instead of comparing the numbers of ayaat'.

So the second reason is because most of the time he stopped at اَحَدْ ، صَّمَدْ ، يُوْلَدْ ، and اَحَدْ again, but sometimes he stops at يَلِدْ as well. He only varies the position of where he stops because it’s sunnah to stop at an ayat, not fardh.

Barak Allahu feekum, brother The word ربما is not exactly perhaps/ maybe .. but it is as close as it gets in English. There are many tafsirs to this one. The famous one is that this ayah talks about the day of judgment and what the disbelievers say. The use of 'Perhaps' indicates that in that situation, they would be more busy with their torment and punishment, that even their wish to become Muslims, would be something that wouldn't say frequently. All of the Qira'aat have al-Anfaal and at-Tawbah as separate suwar (chapters). As for the numbering, it varies among the Qira'aat (the science for this is called ʿilm ʿadd al-āy) from 6210, 6214, 6217, 6226, 6236 as per the endings, going back to the Sahabah. All count 114 suwar (chapters), the difference is just where to stop (and count the verse number) when reading specific sentences within those same 114 chapters. And yes, we have chains of transmission for every single of one them, connected, documented, as mass transmitted (mutawaatir).

all of the qiraats were originally from the prophet a. ie same source people didnt make it up later on most of the differences in the qiraats are sub language changes but there are some things unique to each qiraat that has nothing to do with dialect the main thing is they all come from the same source and are all accepted people broadcast all of these different qiraats on the radio and telly

The 7 Qira'at are not 7 Qur'ans. There is only one Qur'an, and this one Qur'an itself contains 7 Qira'ats. All 7 Qira'ats are from God, because that is how the Qur'an is supposed to be. And how it always was.
