I've been to most of these places except for the nooneco zakkaya store. It looks like a nice place to check out. Wondering if you'd consider doing another stationary store video where you live or maybe in another borough like Brooklyn? I know there are a ton more that I'm planning to check out over there such as Yoseka Stationery

Customer service at the Fountain Pen Hospital depends100 percent on who is working with you. The man who works in the back of the store near the ink is a class act and really thoughtful about answering questions. The guy in the front is unwelcoming. I’ve been there a few times and my experience with those two is always the same. They have great ink discounts.

Michael’s is for hobbyists, Blick caters to everyone, from the beginner to the professional artist. I imagine that in store the selects would be more general, but they carry everything you would need for every medium online. 🖋

🖋 I live 15 minutes from the city and literally work only a few blocks from the pen hospital and never went to check it out 🤦🏻‍♀️ thinking it was a small store that just fixed pens LOL. I didn’t know a lot of these places existed thank you for showing them. I usually go to Yoseka to get my Japanese stationary fix. One thing I would say is if you seen one Muji you seen them all, I wouldn’t recommend the walk to the Muji store not really worth it for gel pens and notebooks just my opinion. Also city blocks are like 2 regular blocks even in NY we say it’s like 5 city blocks away as if to warn you actually about to walk 10 blocks lmao

yess go visit some of these places if you get the chance. If you like Yoseka, i definitely think youd enjoy Niconeco Zakkaya. anddd i agree 😅. Once youve seen one Muji store, youve pretty much seen them all. ohhhh i didnt knoww that. so city blocks are double pretty much? got ittt 😄😄

I enjoyed your vlog! Some of the places you went were already on my list, but it was nice seeing what they looked like "up close". I've been in the midst of planning a New York stationary trip for a while now, but things haven't worked out. Hopefully, things come together so I can go this summer. Yoseka (and NicoNeko Zakkaya) are high on the list of shops I want to visit. I've purchased online from both but really want the experience and the vibe of in person shopping. I'm also sorry I missed CW Pencil. Like almost as soon as I was aware of them they closed. I keep trying to plan my day so I don't get overwhelmed and others with me won't get bored. lol Loved the beginning set up of the vlog as well.
