BY luffy finding gecko, lucci finding gecko, enel finding everything but scariest of all… any blue deck can find pudding. No hand is safe! Nah but jk, there are a lot of decks that will benefit from consistency of this type of card but we’ll have to see when eb02 comes out!

1c search top 5 vs 2c search top 4 Rush decks like Belo Betty will punish players thinking to play the 2c search. 2c search Helps with midrange and control decks while making rush viable. at the moment. most games go Turn 1: searcher Turn 2: Blocker or Body. with these 2c events. Turn 1: searcher Turn 2: searcher? You will have to navigate what is the best play at turn 2, and deck build around it. For instance, if you play searcher on the first 2 plays. You become susceptible to rush decks like double attack leader Yamato or Belo Betty.

I dont think theyll be used too much. Im still kinda new to One piece but it feels like the 1 cost characters that search, will always be favored as oppose to the 1-2 cost events that search. like ppl will use the 1 cost pudding search instead of the event "we're going claim the one piece!" and It makes sense because those 1 cost searchers can be used to control the board and attack life/ be used as counters. While a search event just becomes more dead the longer the game goes on, i think. However i may be 100% wrong lol maybe theyll be popular in 2 color decks that have no searches or in control decks that do nothing on their first 2 turns. Love the arts of these new cards as well , great vid!!!

Yeah exactly. Typically event searchers aren’t used in favor of those 1c or 2c bodies that search because of board and they have counter. But decks that heavily rely on top end cards like enel might want these in the list. However I don’t think enel is super meta nor are many decks that don’t have searchers for their top end already in their kits like Blackbeard or doffy. I’m excited to see if there’s many use cases for them as the possibilities they offer are pretty big. But in reality might be hard to fit in most lists

Yeah these just add way too much consistency to some decks. They remove the entire drawback almost entirely. I mean, sure, maybe you still bottom deck most of your high end if you draw 4 and all 4 are high end…. But like what the point of making this card? It just runs counter to all the limiters put on searchers pretty much

There’s definitely drawbacks to event searchers vs regular searchers but yeah still being able to find anything is crazy. Again going to Bonney as an example, I can search carrot 5c now I can find hody like that’s wild. Deck building is going to have a lot more possibilities
