Awesome video!!!! I believed every last one of these myths before I caved and went on my first cruise. I used to be prone to car sickness, but even on the smaller ships in some rough water, I’ve never been seasick. Unsteady on my feet under movement, sure. If you can’t find anything to eat on a ship, you can’t be pleased. We don’t go crazy and get macked out suites, but we do get balconies. You don’t get any real living space, but you get more light and a great view. Excellent tip on the passport. I stress that same thing to anyone taking their first cruise. But the ability to see upwards of 4 or 5 different countries on one trip is what I’m sold on. We might not go on an excursion, but we at least get off the boat and check out the island a little. You mentioned Titanic. They were showing Taken on one of the cruises we were on. Not the best movie to watch while walking through foreign streets. I hope to run into you some time. Cheers!

Excellent. Direct and to the point. Thank you thank you for bringing up two issues. How important passports are and the environmental issue. I flat out tell people if you can't afford a passport you can't afford to cruise. If you're worried about every little expense then you are probably trying to live beyond your means. As for the environment look up MSC and see how that cruise line started and how they set the gold standard for every other line to follow.

I'm guilty of a bunch of these, I've historically choosen land-based resorts over cruises but I did a island hopping cruise (40 person capacity) of Croatia for a week and I had a good time. Tempted to try a cruise for a vacation (or part of one) in the near future once I have some vacation time and dollars saved up.
