There are so many great descents round that way. One I like runs down the north-west edge of Yarner woods, between Black Hill and Trendlebere Downs. Doesn't look much on the map and the top's a bit rubbish but part way down it turns into a wide, open gully with natural berms full of fist sized rocks, awesome! It's probably a river in the winter mind.

Know what you mean, some of them are awesome! Think I can see the route you're talking about on the map, will venture that way next time I'm in the area & take a look. Pretty sure I saw some lines running down from Trendlebere Downs towards Becka Brook when I passed through as well...
