The boot-jack was the first project my dad would assign to his high school freshman woodworking classes. They work, especially as you get used to taking off your boots with it, but you don’t need all the fancy rubber additions to the basic wood piece. It saves your hands from mud, not bending over.

mildly frustrating for them to think the tea bottle is for water :( that temperature gauge isn't the MOST useful (since thermometers are cheaper) but it would certainly help for when you make tea outside of your home (like at work) and theres no thermometers

I'm pretty sure the smart cutter is one of those things that's good for someone with a disability that affects their ability to safely handle a knife/cutting board normally.

A lot of them are actually really helpful for people with disabilities, but aren't marketed that way so everyone else still buys them and effectively subsidizes it for the people who need it.

You guys must not do much grocery shopping. The Cherry Doctor Pepper ice cream topping was emulating Cherry Doctor Pepper soda. It's one of their flavors. They also make a Cream Soda Doctor Pepper.

I think that smart bottle is for tea. The filter is the infuser for the tea leaves and the temperature sensor tells you if it's the right temperature to brew your tea (some types of tea like green tea shouldn't be quite as hot as other teas otherwise it ends up bitter). Also bonus, the temperature sensor tells you if it's cooled off to drink. Still a stupid design though. Especially since the sensor is on the lid. Plus the little tea infuser is way too small to be good for actually brewing tea. But I think thats what the bottle was intended for.

You can already do that without the boot jack. I've always taken my shoes and boots that way without using my hands by just kicking them off using the same motion as the boot jack but just using my other foot instead of the device.

I tried the cherry Dr. Pepper syrup, and I liked it. And those scissors (the smart cutters) have been around for a while! I have a pair. I love them, and use them all the time! They were great when my daughter was little and helping me cook. I didn’t have to give her a knife. She cut the veggies with these. I love cooking, but I have terrible knife skills. So these help out on some of the fruit and veg. 😂
