2] Anyway... I thought you might like some warnings about microphones. Most are made with an extremely thin aluminum disc (condenser condenser) and equally thin aluminum can. They are not much stronger than aluminum foil. Can be bent or warped and distorted out of perfectly round very easily. All can go wrong very simply much like cracking a phone screen.. you can drop it 10 times from 3 feet and its fine but all it can take is once from 11 inches and that can be the end of the protector and the phones glass screen. So be super careful not to ever drop your mic, bang it, including tapping it lightly to test for sound, and most importantly and most neglected never ever ever blow air into the mic including breathing at it as you speak at it. Instead make sure your breath is traveling over the top of the mic no closer than 4 inches above it. Once the condenser or the can is warped. The condenser will not move freely inside without scraping or touching the can. Causing it to make clicks and/or pops as it binds and scrapes along. Or it may stop working at all and be bound(lodged) against the can. Tapping it may unstick it but will make it bend more and more out of shape everytime. Once it has been damaged at all it becomes what is know in Metallurgy as work hardening. This effect will make it less sensitive and dull. Making the condenser disc quiter and quiter everytime it hangs or scrapes inside the cylindrical edge of the can. So in closing treat your mic like it is the most sensitive thing in your production. BTW in America it is knowen as a lapel mic. Meaning its sensitivity is set to statistics ment to be clipped to your shirt. And it is going to pic up every little sound from all directions. (Hense super sensitive microphone)((what all you youtubers are going to find out is they are even thinner materials and wont last very long)) because noone is listening to the 10 people out of a 100 telling them WHY. But instead drowning them out as a karen or kevin or in some common words "nay sayers" PEACE! Love ya so, So much
