In 2012, I was 14 at the time… my parents were only able to afford the take down model. Now being 25, it is such an amazing feeling being able to purchase a pair of Maestri iii’s. Wait WHAT 😳 they did a remake ? I always wanted these as a kid, but I never had the money. Now I’m 22 years old and I’ll finally be able to buy these 😅 what makes this even better is the fact, that most of the current football foots don’t actually fit me (because of the tongue being stitched to the boot itself). Would have 100% preferred the Maestri I. That Black/Red/White colourway is genuinely the best looking boots ever. There are rumours and leaked images of another release of the CTR360 Maestri III. In the Black/Red/White colourway, fingers crossed this is the case. I held off on these, CTR360 are my favourite boots. Unfortunately, how iconic the yellow colourway is, it’s just took much for me in my opinion. I hate having bright boots. Fingers Crossed.

SOLD OUT ALREADY?? Man I paid about $480 for some CTR 360’s 2 years ago in the Fresh Mint pack. Got super lucky finding them in my size 10US and I still wear them to this day, they feel great and I’ve always loved the soleplate. Wish I was able to buy them back in 2013 when I was younger haha

Adidas needs to make 1:1 remakes as well, I hate the modern, generic soleplates on classic Preds with the amazing TRX soleplate and Powerspine and Powerpulse systems. Or the F50 Adizero I with its amazing Sprintframe! I have these, the OG, courtesy of professional footballer Kevin Escamilla! The only nike remakes I want are the Ronaldinho Dois, Air Legend I Ronaldinho edition, Legend V and the Mercurial Vapor VIII

I went true to size and they fit well. They don't seem even a quarter size small to me. In the toe box, the amount of space is similar to the Puma One 1 and Mizuno Rebula Cup.

As awesome as the adidas remakes are along with the t90 laser 1 and Nike tiempo legend 1 Ronaldinho remakes,this and the puma V1.06 remakes are the best given they used not just the original uppers but also the original soleplates. Some boots definitely are better off using the original tooling than the current ones.

I really like that they used the original sole plate. Adidas’ remakes use their current, in line, sole plates and I feel like that takes away from the concept of a remake.

To be fair, the carbitex soleplate was 100% better performance wise than the original F50 soleplate. Much better responsiveness and spring back than the classic plastic soleplate which got too soft after a while. The carbitex also just looks better lol
