Except unlike cb and ns, Jean grey needs her full team. 😢. The devs had been doing such a good job the last year giving us more room for theory crafting and plug and play ability of characters. These teams are a huge disappointment and yet another step backwards.

These reworks and frozen dimension kind of feel like Boundless just mailed it in. I guess maybe they were behind and the holidays were beckoning. It all feels very uninspiring and underwhelming. Basically, they knew players needed Jean Grey and Hercules for Spotlight Raids, so their cc and war teams didn’t need to be great because ppl already couldn’t skip the two new characters. The cc and war versions seem like luxuries that could be an upgrade to your mid offense teams. Essentially, if you build them, you can drop your worst offense team maybe a month or two sooner than you would have normally dropped them any way.

I honestly find the War negativity from some a little odd... It's the only Alliance vs Alliance mode in the game and is super fun to watch team members race against other guilds in a close War battle... Honestly baffling to me what some don't like about this game mode. I glad to see War teams getting some love from the Devs.

Ehhh everything she does is aoe and she’s already assisting in the current cc global rules, plus she goes first on the team so her first turn won’t have any vulnerables out there

My hope is that the devs take critical criticisms and rework the 3 teams to maybe make the kits less restrictive and less underwhelming. Like they did with both orchis and astral.

@brandondulom3394 the value is objective, the fun is subjective. Personnaly, I find war less boring and predictible, and for a veteran player, a way to use and optimize more teams...

Yea, Storm (and maybe Falcon) seem to be the interesting reworks with plug and play value even if you don’t build the war or cc versions of the team.

I swear Scopley creates these teams using a raffle draw. If they are going to rework 4 characters per team, then rework the entire fantastic 4 team and add Victor as the 5th. Instead they just slop together random characters.
