Great video - these are the two dolls that I’ve bought from this line so far! I vastly prefer the inset eyes, but the painted ones aren’t bad. The Mickey girl wasn’t even on my radar but she is actually my favorite, I absolutely love her😍. I do think the light skinned girls in this line have sort of derpy faces, which is unfortunate, but overall I feel like these are a huge improvement over the Disney ones.

So….I really prefer the Disney Store Ily. My first 2 were Snow White and Tiana and they’re really nice. Then the other day I bought Jakks Bambi and Mickey Mouse. Their heads are bigger and more cartoonish and I don’t like the painted eyes. I like the double jointed knees better. I just about needed a demolition expert the get the Jakks out of the box. So…….I took advantage of targets BOGO on Disney and bought the rest of the first edition Disney Store Ily. I also got the Dia De La Muerta Rainbow High for $35 at target, but they’re ticking me off with their 2 day shipping that actually takes a week. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I love, love , love the Mickey Mouse outfit, especially the Van style shoes.

I honestly prefer these from Jakks, because I've had issues with the inset eyes (2/3 had their left eye turn blurry... I never used water on them or anything and Disney refuses to help me whatsoever. So customer service is terrible for them...) I heard the Jakks ones had some trouble with their joints but I'd take that over having a broken doll

It's not an ideal method, but you could possibly fix it yourself. If you heat up the head the eyes can be popped out. The coloring is just on paper, so you can clean that off and paint your own eyes with nail polish or acrylic or something. Painting the eyes is just circles so you just need something small and round to use as a dotting tool, like the back end of a paint brush. There's also an etsy shop that's selling replacement eyes. They're not the same as the original, but they work. My Froggy Stuff's videos about these dolls go into the eye stuff in detail. It'd be really sad to just have busted eyes for so many of your dolls.

I prefer the jakks pacific dolls. Target had buy one get one 50% off. I have mickey and ursula. Stands were never anything important to me playing with dolls/barbies or most kids i know - most kids i know just lay the dolls down or sit them or they hold them to talk to each other🤷🏾‍♀️. I dont like the ring and would still prefer the balloon with a treat inside

I just have stitch so far overall very happy with her I just hate the knee articulation on these Jakks ones cause I do honestly feel like I might accidentally break the leg but the Disney stores the entire leg can accidentally pop off & on. I def think $29.99 is a great price for these since you get 2 outfits. I def hope Jakks makes more. I also hope Disney store makes more I was kind of bummed the only new doll so far is Aladdin. But I do love the Disney parks rides fashion packs and they did Merida.

Ooh they're so pretty! The Mickey doll is going on my wishlist. I agree that I like these eyes better. They Disney Store ones set off uncanny valley for me tbh, and I am not super sensitive to that, idk why. For example, I didn't hate the Judy Garland doll DarlingDollz shared in their latest video (I agreed with the rest of that video though! No hate, I love both of your videos!!) I think I love her lol

After watching this video Im going to try and go back for the Ursula I saw at target, the detail on these dolls are insane and this video has convinced me lmao! Its a shame that this line is based on mascot characters because they don't really speak to me but luckily Ursula is there amongst Mickey, Stitch and Bambi,,, hoping for more villain ILY dolls by jakks!

I only started collecting this line a week ago but the Disney Store ones are just wearing merch sometimes too. One of the Snow White dolls I have is Disney bounding and the other one is just wearing merch. It's the same with Beauty and the Beast, one is Disney bounding and the other is wearing merch. I think the Jasmine one is also wearing a character T-shirt. Half the JAKKS PACIFIC dolls are also Disney bounding. I have the Ursula and the Rapunzel and they're bounding.

I love these dolls, but the unboxing sucks 😂. I accidentally cut some of Bambi's hair and Ursula's fur coat was covered in plastic ties 😢.

It would be well worth it if they didn’t overdo it with the security plastics and perforate the clothing. I had to return and request a refund because the kimono had perforated areas where the doll’s arms were secured.😢 Really It was a pain to unpack the doll. 😫😣 I fell in love with that line, but I was disappointed by the excessive use of security plastics.🤬
