I wanted these boots for a long time and went to purchase them but when I reached the store and tried them on, they looked awful on me. I have a narrow foot, so they kept gapping really badly at the instep. I tried to love them but could no longer love forward with getting them. I also agree that they’re heavy. They were just bulky. I ended up getting the Star Trail ankle heel booties. They fit way better, so I’ll see how they work.

I have the black ones like this (whatever they’re called) and got them 3 or 4 years ago. I love them and find them pretty comfy after being broken in, but I do have a narrow foot and that might make them more comfy. I hated the leather shoestrings. One morning I went to put them on and discovered on one boot the strings were gone down to the top lace, so the decision was made by my dog who chewed them to buy new laces at that point! I just got some regular black shoelaces at Walgreens and find them much less annoying than the leather ones they come with. I had a hard time keeping them tied.

Yes, same issues. I have fat feet though so I may have to wear them more 😃

When you say heavy do you mean uncomfortable?

Yes after awhile they become uncomfortable heavy on your feet. After time though
