Are They Worth Wishing For?! | Chasca & Ororon Character Trailer Reactions (Genshin Impact)

Every character is worth wishing for if one really likes them. However, at this time we don't know how good either of these characters is in terms of game play. Next phase will bring two extraordinary gentlemen, both excellent at their roles. My recommendation is to be knowledgeable about what is known and them making the informed decision to follow one's heart. Personally I will be wishing for Ororon on Chasca's banner and I won't be sad if I get both. But I already have Lyney, Zhongli and Neuvillette, so making this decision wasn't too hard.

Same Silver from the streams here! Here are my personal opinions: Ororon is a fantastic new 4 star that will definitely be great for you to build, ESPECIALLY because you lack the other broken 4 star off-field electro dps, Fischl. However, being a 4 star, there's a very realistic chance you just never get him. Also, his kit is dysfunctional unless you have another Natlan character on your team, or your team can trigger electro-charged (hydro+electro), so if you got him, he'd be locked to your Xingqui. Chasca AND Lyney are both really great 5 star on-field bow characters that will easily clear all endgame content when properly built. However, they share a weakness, with them both having some of the lowest defensive stats out of any DPS, which is a problem due to their long charged attack animations. If either really speaks to you, I don't think you'll regret picking them up. But don't pull them unless you really like them, there are better on-fielders (the best on-field DPS in the whole game, Neuvillete, is next banner after them) in the game. They also both REALLY want Bennet on their team, who I don't think you have yet, so I PERSONALLY wouldn't recommend them. I hope this helps a bit in terms of weather or not to pull. I will also include that the pyro archon, Mavuika, is coming out next patch, and if patterns keep up, she'll be an absolute meta-definer. Have a good day, and good luck with whatever pulls you do!

They both definitly look cool, as far as how fun they are to play well we'll see during their trial run in 5.2.

Yes, she does ride her gun, but she is a slow charged attack dps. At least you can try her out in her test run to see if you want her. Ororon is a bat and electro, lol! But I get what you meant about the butterfly patterns. Ororon is on Chasca's banner, so if you do decide to get her you might get Ororon too.

Both are charged ATK DPS in this banner, my least preferred playstyle. RIP getting Ororon rn

From my personal experience, free 4* characters and starter characters are enough for quests and exploration, as long as you aren't struggling with clearing contents, pull for who you want My first 5* character is Xiao who isn't the most meta-defining character; I went for him as soon as he got a rerun, the funny thing is, another 5* character happened to debut on the same patch (hydro, very meta), similar to your Chasca/Neuvillette situation xD I'm waiting for old character's reruns but Chasca seems extremely fun, good luck if you decide to pull for her!

Yes Chasca rides a gun in game! I'm surprised people aren't as hyped to pull for her, but I suppose the pyro archon is just around the corner so maybe people are saving up? I'm also on saving mode, but I'd want to see if I can get a copy of Ororon. I'd personally also suggest you saving up for the premier DPS that is Neuvillette, but if you really really like Chasca, then go for her!

The common consesus is that Ororon is a bat (not officially confirmed though i t hink). So Diluc has competition now. And yes, Chasca is actually riding her gun. When in Natlan she can stay in the air for a really long time as well apparently. As other people said - most characters are worth wishing for, so go for who you like :D Here's some pros and cons: Chasca will be hard to beat for exploration. She also has a very unqiue playstyle. We don't know how strong she will be yet. Lyney is a very good bow dps. A situationally useful combination on an underrated character. But he's not quite AS strong as the best dps'. Neuvilette will be hard to beat in combat. Along with arlecchino he's usually seen as the strongest main dps currently. Some people think his playstyle is boring though. Zhongli is still the strongest shield you can get and also supports very well. Many people say his shield is so strong that they lose skill, because they don't need to dodge anymore. And if that wasn't enough, the patch after that we are probably (not confirmed yet) getting a really, really hyped character too. So you can really just pick your poison tbh.

I mean... considering the Iktolisaurs are batlike Saurians... that makes total sense for him to be a bat. Not to mention the bat-wing like details of his clothes (I'm not sure he has wings like i've heard some people say)... I think he also has animal ears? Yeah, his ears could either be canine or Bat-like as well...

honestly, i might actually be pulling for chasca. her playstyle seems fun in comparison to neuvilette. neuvi's really good as he's one of the top dps but his playstyle does gets boring over time. mavuika's probably gonna be in 5.3 so i hope you're ready for that!

you can try playing her trial to see if you like her! chasca seems fun for exploration but i'm personally not wishing because mavuika will be coming soon and she'll be a game changer ( you'd probably have time to rebuild your limited banner pity before her banner is out though so its up to you!)

Pull whatever you like don't just follow meta i know neuvillette is best dps in the game but it's not worth pulling if you don't liked playing him just follow your heart

Can only speak for myself. Though I am not pulling for Chasca, I will do maybe 30 or 40 pulls on her banner to get Ororon. If I end up with Chasca, it’s fine, if not also ok. Ororon is who I really want…😅
