As an Eagles fan, I am enjoying this season a lot more than last season. AJ has a right to express frustration and concerns with the passing game when we have only scored 17 points in 13 1st quarters. Not good enough when it comes to expecting to beat teams like the Lions and maybe the Chiefs, depending on how much voodoo they have working for them in the week. I expect the Birds to respond and play well against the Steelers. It is a good problem to have when you need to find ways to get the ball to other talent like AJ, Smiitty, our Tight Ends, feeding Saquon, and giving Jalen occasional runs. There's only one football to share with that many people.

Context is everything. Last week Eagles beat reporters were annoying AJ for some reason about if he's happy not getting the ball as much. This week Jalen had a bad game and AJ was frustrated, as the competitor he is, that the passing game wasn't up to their standard, so he gives the reporters a snippy answer and they blow it out of proportion like crazy. Jalen, AJ & held a 3 man prayer circle before the Panthers game, as they do every game. We won 9 straight. Sadly positive news doesn't click well, so they have to dramatize every little thing. Barkely is feasting because Defenses are playing deep coverages to limit big plays from AJ and D.Smith. Defenses in NFL know if you trying to get them open. They do film study too. They know you trying to give them slants, screens, and other short passes. You have to run Barkley if they show a light box. I mean 108 yards in an NFL game is bench-rider numbers. Jalen has gone over 300yds passing once this season (against NO) and also went for 118 against Baltimore and 114 against the Giants. So to say the passing attack is abysmal is a pretty fair assessment I would say, especially in the last 2 weeks. Now on the other hand, we are 11-2 and have the best rushing offense in the league, along with one of the best defenses. And despite Jalen holding the ball too long and missing (seeing) open guys deep, he has seldom turned the ball over the last 8 or so games. So there is something to be said about that too.

A few things I see as an Eagles fan.....It seems hard for anyone to get into a rhythm because we're not getting enough sustained drives. I feel like Saquon's performance wasn't expected to be as great as it has; so the players and coaches are being forced to give him more touches than anyone ever expected. Jalen is also holding onto the ball too long. You watch post game films and Jalen is not throwing to AJ Brown when he comes open.....he throws to him after defenders close in on him. Maybe the lack of Dallas Goedert is allowing teams to double and triple Brown. Jalen also needs to be engaging during the games talking to coaches, receivers, and linemen on the sidelines. He just sits there sulking.....the playoffs are coming so it's time to suck it up boys, get your sh*t together, and act like professionals!

1. AJ didn't throw anyone under the bus. He was asked a question about what needs to improve on offense and he simply said "passing", which is a fact. The passing game needs to improve. This means Hurts, Kellen Moore, O-line, TE's, and WR's. Saying a simple word and stating a fact hardly registers on the WR diva scale. Just because a team is on a win streak, doesn't mean they still can't further imrpove. 2. It is well known knowledge that AJ and Hurts are best friends since before college. Now they are friends AND co-workers, so naturally the relationship changes and has to be navigated professionally. 3.
