One my mates got the Alba one's but again not for me I'm not going back to wired earphones! Still use the 3.5mm to hook up monitors etc but as for headphones no need now with some of the real gems waiting to be found!

I agree that not being wired is a downside. Especially for me because I have many cameras in different areas of my studio and like to get up and do other things while live, however I have made it so I can switch headphones at the push of a button if I want that. These IEMs are just really good at monitoring the production side of things in my opinion. I am able to monitor the volume and clarity of my voice and game audio in relation to any and all other stream audio like music and alerts. Same can be done with really any headset but I have not tried anything that is as good as this... so far! If I find something better I will surely put out a new video. Also FYI these IEMs have an upgrade you can get that makes them wireless which I am thinking of getting so there may be a follow up video to this one in the near future.

Doesn't your headset have better sound positioning than the IEMs? You can hear more sounds because iems are more sensitive but can you really locate sound source without problem?

I would say my directional awareness is noticeably better with the IEMs. Was just playing a survival game and was wondering around in the dark looking for an NPC and was fully able to find him without a torch or light source simply by just listening for his footsteps. Could I have done this with the full headset? Probably but the IEMs have way more clarity. To be honest, I really recommend these more for streamers who are also trying to monitor their audio outputs to stream while the are gaming because they give you a better representation of how loud you and your game is in relation to background music, stream alerts, and other audio you may have going on during the stream.
