Everything you have said here really resonates with me right now. I haven’t been doing videos either. Life is busy. There is a lot to be said about good painted hair. I will sell dolls just because the hair drives me crazy. I have sold 6 dolls recently but still have 7 or 8. I am now like you and want the most realism but you do worry more about changing them frequently. I’m examining this hobby on KZbin and asking myself is it bringing me joy or just stress? The community has changed a lot. I am having thoughts of leaving too. I feel like my time is up on KZbin. Lots to think about.❤❤❤ I totally understand the spending. I just have to stop looking at dolls or I never feel content. Your girls are just gorgeous in their outfits. Did you say you got those at Marshall’s?🤗🤗🤗

Mia, It is wonderful to have you back. 😊 Are you my twin??? My thought process is exactly like yours!! I'm always thinking and rethinking my collection!! I've thought about selling all of my dolls and just just getting 2 or 3 that mean the world to me. Then I realize I can't give up my current collection. Sometimes we do just need a good long break. Great chat. I fully understand what you are saying. At this moment in time I am extremely content with my current collection. I don't see myself adding or selling any of my dolls. However, I do think that I could purge nearly all the clothes and just add clothes that are higher end. Items I would have loved to dress my living children in. I have downsized drastically and also simplified my social media. I'm only on KZbin now and a handful of groups on Facebook. Simplicity is blissful. I just got a new full body silicone who is awake. Ohmygoodness, the twins look gorgeous. I love your new filming set-up. I'm very happy to hear that you will be continuing in the hobby and on KZbin too. I too feel like there have been a lot of changes in the community and I have changed a lot over the past year as well. I have slimmed down my collection and all the "stuff" that goes along with it considerably plus I'm traveling again too. I try not to overthink this hobby, but I also don't ever want any part of it to feel like work or to feel guilty doing it. As long as I can keep the balance between fun and obsession, I'm golden, lol. It's great to see you my dear friend. It’s so good to see you back. I don’t make videos but I can imagine how much work goes into it. I definitely have moments where I feel bored in the hobby and think about getting rid of almost everything. Sometimes this hobby can be very nerve wracking and daunting as well. I’m all over the place with what I like and don’t like. One day I like one type of thing, then the next day I change my mind and don’t think I like it anymore. I’m trying very hard to get ahold of my hobby with what I love, that way i’m not wasting soooooo much money. I just donated 4 or 5 trash bags full of baby clothes and gave my best friend 2 bags full of blankets. As I type this, I have a baby coming today 😂😂. I’m so glad that you’re not done. Just focus on what works for YOU as far as videos go, that way you don’t feel any pressure. Hugs 💕

Enjoyed so much. Your taste is just exquisite. I have a Laura, Quinlyn and Levi to paint that I want to do as siblings and keep together forever. I love the sculpts. Your babies are beautiful. I am supposed to be at the doll show but I also need hip surgery so my life is kind of up in the air right now. Those outfits are so adorable. Marshall’s has some really cute outfits. Actually, I’ve been quite pleased with how everything came together and, although, I really enjoy making miniatures, I feel that if I added anything else to it, it would be too much. The thing is to know when to say enough and call it done. Of course, as time goes by, I may change my mind. After all, there was over 50 years before my first additions and more than 10 years before I added more. 😁💕

@@Lindasromperroom Hi, Linda! Great to hear from you! Hope you are doing well. I’m having multiple health issues. Had right knee replacement surgery 10 weeks ago. Was unable to walk. Need left, also, but the pain is so great, I’m rethinking it for now. Still having to use walker. Also had cataract surgery both eyes. Very glad I did that. I now can see much better. I don’t comment much anymore, but I do watch reborn videos some. I’m glad you have become active on YT again. You have beautiful babies and are very talented.
