The three of you are a great crew. The balance of perspectives and all of your humor is great. PS I recommend listening to Britney's statement to the judge in her final testimony that was aired publicly before you cover her again. She gives a very coherent breakdown of the hell she's gone through and abuse she's suffered from her family, and its a lot worse than the coffee and wine she's joking about now. Her dad literally told her she had to work against her will or he'd lie to a judge that she relapsed so her kids would be taken away. If any of us went through what her family did we would be acting very odd and whacky too as we recover with our newly acquired freedom. obviously she needs professional help to deal with what she went through.

Hint: if you're questioning whether context is racially insensitive...you might want to ask non white people. 🤣👌🏽
@DeadDave2 жыл бұрын
In the context that they are discussing in this video, how is it insensitive to question if a baby born from a mixed race woman and a ginger white man might have a ginger afro? In fact you are right, the babies ethnicicty is more white than black so it would be safer to assume the more predominant gene would make the baby look more caucasian than black and that has turned out to be true.

@angelavictoria85582 жыл бұрын
@@joanieellen6969 Hello, thanks for inquiring. Typically when it applies to racially-insensitive topics coming from a colored person stating how that made them feel; it most likely is an accurate feeling as the topic being discussed at hand involves the race of her child. A white person saying “I don’t get how that’s so bad” well that’s because they’ve never had to deal with those types of situations so they aren’t aware of the context and content of the topic. Especially given the fact that Meghan was the first colored person to enter a society of 99% white people; it’s harder for me to believe she was fully accepted and treated “fairly” at all times.
@joanieellen69692 жыл бұрын
@@angelavictoria8558 Okay that makes sense, I guess for me and perhaps other white people, we don't "see" Meghan as black. And in your message to me you refer to black people as colored. Fun podcast. Enjoyed the topics and insights. Thanks for that. My take on Harry & Meghan, I am the mom of biracial kids and both sides, black and white, made comments about what the kids would look like. I hope they have green eyes and dark skin, I hope they aren't white, I hope they have straight hair, I hope they have curly hair. Never ever did we take offense. One of the great grandmothers commented they hoped the child wasn't too dark. Again didn't take offense, she was old and that was the time she grew up in. At the end of the day, family can say stupid crap and you need to be able to roll your eyes, think "moron" and move on.

Ive mentioned this before. Britney had her image controlled for so long shes reclaiming it through the pictures. Its part of reclaiming your body after trauma. When you force a child to act as an adult and be the primary bread winner they have a huge part of their emotional development stolen from them and its part of reclaiming that part of you and your development. She is obviously very hurt by her family and is in a place of venting. Sometimes it comes off very bratty. Not trying to preach at you Im just familiar with what she is going through. We all love Britney or we wouldn't be talking about her. 💛

There is more going on than just that. Why is she always alone? Where are her friends? What is up with her teams letting these pics through? Why doesn’t her husband ever post about her? Why is makeup and clothes such a wreck? Why is she so despondent looking?
@geanvelveteen53012 жыл бұрын
@@emilyincasper4434 She looks like a normal person not some over polished filtered piece of perfection. Her "odd" behavior is tame given shes an artist - specifically one who uses dance as part of her work. I don't know why shes alone but I wouldnt trust anyone either after all shes been through. She is showing you all the parts of her (quite literally) even the ugly parts. She is a woman who has been held to ridiculous standards her entire life and in order to see that you must place yourself in her position and show empathy instead of judgement. Everything she is going through is an exhibit of what American culture has done to its women and little girls. I see her as a living performing work of art representing the feminine experience at its most raw and vulnerable. So who will take care of Britney? The answer is....she will. It's like that ridiculous wonder woman costume America used in the Ms Universe pageant. That is now the expectation and women like Britney are showing you the fall out from it. I am black and live in the UK. The Royal Family never married an obvious person of the colour until Meghan. It was a big deal here, class and race are very emotive subjects here. The press were awful to her and especially after Associated Newspapers (includes Daily Mail) lost their case against her. They went all in about every aspect of her being. Now, this is what the press do, for sure post wedding but she did not do anything problematic. Like Prince Andrew or his ex wife who had an affair (selling the Royal name left right and centre, which is frowned upon if not illegal) or rape like Prince Charles’ wife’s nephew. Or even Diana, who dated lots of men and wanted a divorce - by 80s/90’s standards she was the devil for not putting up with Prince Charles’ love affair. Meghan Being a bit of a snob is on brand with the Royal Family. No?

She was treating staff poorly, ignoring protocol, buying expensive clothes on the regular, only doing engagements that she liked and got her publicity, taking private planes and telling others to be environmental. You cannot say she did NOTHING wrong. I don't think the newspapers are innocent ,as they like to stir the pot, but let's not say she is a saint. Every royal has and continues to get criticized by the press, as they should.
@mahsa0652 жыл бұрын
@@Afrosukha if these supposedly racist people didn't want their blood line muddied, she would have never been allowed to marry harry. She would have never met the queen to begin with. She was welcomed into the family before the wedding, as was her mother. The middletons, a white British family, never got that. I'm no monarchist either but I'm not going to be blind to meghan markles lies and poor behavior. It's no accident that meghan's rude behavior has been talked about by various people, and it has nothing to do with racism. Take Michelle Obama, she faced overt racism by not just the press but members of the government, yet not one person has ever spoken poorly about her behavior, her attitude. You can be a person of colour, experience racism but still be a bully yourself.

And they spend time on a vacation, so I’m not sure about the food situation at that point. Next, they move into an apartment together and I believe they can buy their own groceries at that point. The last step is merging their lives which means moving back to their apartments. During this time, I’m sure they are responsible for their own groceries in their own homes or apartments. When housewives go on vacation trips like the Berlin trip in Beverly Hills, is the food covered throughout the trip? Not just dinners, but every meal? Not sure how that works.
