Are we getting Classic Plus? World of Warcraft Classic: Season of Discovery

The Season of Discovery will soon be upon us, but what exactly is it? Is classic plus on its way, or is this just a fun experiment from blizzard? Regardless of where it goes, its looking pretty cool so far!

being a 2004 player and in hind sight , I never fully understood why blizzard when into expansions off vanilla Azeroth it made no sense to do so. I think this is their way of saying- the what if ?

I think so! I also think this is a test run for a potential permanent classic + server of some kind that doesnt end after the season of discovery
