THE RISK IS ALWAYS THERE! The language here even doing this discussion is very balanced and so relatable. I see so much of myself and the life I’ve lived. I was sheltered and learned many things the hard way. Realizing later in life how brutal this world is as well. I’ve always been in relationships and attracted to older men-since I was 19 years of age. And now I’m 55 and dating a man who’s 67 years of age.

Hello, I am new too your page. I just want to let you know that your “I am enough” was a blessing to me. I struggled with that question for years, and through counseling and learning self love, I know that I AM ENOUGH!! Thank you for the great conversation! 😉

I really love the transparency and realness between you guys. Sustaining a balanced and healthy marriage and relationship is hard work but with the kind of honesty and transparent communication that you guys demonstrate here? We can see a main ingredient in holding up the quality and long duration of a marriage or relationship. You guys are an inspiration in more ways than you probably know. Thank you!

first, i love this content. thank you. I think every issue is exacerbated by communication. i have grown to understand it's not the issues or even level of consideration, it's how we communicate not only to each other, but to ourselves, that inner voice. Offense is objective. How we communicate our offenses as well as how we have conversations with ourselves in that internal voice asking why we are offended is where the magic happens. I have friends that I have never had a cross word with. That doesn't mean they have never offended mw. It just means I have learned to communicate offenses in a non judgmental or combative way, or have a conversation with myself about patience, empathy or what is really the issue. I also have friends that we don't have that level of communication and it's not because they are more offensive, it's because I tend to mirror their communication style. I think we are severely lacking in communication skills sometimes, myself included. Sometimes that will foster that feeling of "I'm not enough for them to work on or learn how" to communicate. Please keep giving us examples of communication. We don't need examples of "perfect" or "happy". We all deserve to be heard and our perspectives have value.
