I don't know if it's just me but because I've studied English at school (since it's not my first language) and I've read through so many English textbooks and come across different words, I didn't find spelling these words too hard actually. I think spelling is harder for native English speakers, because schools probably don't focus as much on spelling as they do on other things such as literature and stuff like that
